I was lucky enough to pick up a vintage, sealed Japanese Tigatron at a con a couple of years back for £25. Whilst I know that I probably got a decent deal with that, it'll still amuse and depress me in equal measure that the reissue will retail for about the same - if not more by that point.

Original Japanese or Telemocha? Both are FAB but the original Japanese version edges it slightly for me. Be interesting to see if they go original Hasbro cream or show accurate Japanese white with this. |

Okay so I'm not saying it's a bad deco, because it isn't. But it is extremely left field.
I can understand making something about a reissue different from the original, so someone can tell at a glance on the second hand market.
But this is an entirely unique deco that has never existed before.
The goal of the line isn't intended to be show accurate decoes, so I just don't know why they went this route.
And similar with Tigatron, although that is a deco that mold has used. Just not in the west.
