I decided the symbol side looks worse so leave the blank side out and pretend its a g1 rub sign indent. Even if Bee didnt have one, which I cant remember. There's no indent, but my original Cliffjumper has a rubsign there. I think my original Bumblebee back in the day did too, as did a friend's Red Bumblebee. -Nick

I don't really have much interest in Goldbee, although he is rather bling-tastic! I was wondering if there's a way they could refit MP Bumblebee unto a MP Cliffjumper. That would be a better use if the mold. Although Cliffjumper was a porsche wasn't he?

I think they may miss out Cliffjumper, simply because he was a porsche, albeit a chibi version in his Penny racers/TF incarnation so it would look out of place in the Masterpiece scale. Might get a G2 Hubcap though, which would be awesome sauce.

Yeah I doubt you could get a real porsche from reshelling Bee, but I still hope they do some generic reshelled sports cars for Cliffjumper and Hubcap.

Not have one in hand yet I can't say for sure, but yes it does look mighty difficult to get a Cliffjumper out of the MP Bumblebee mold. Shame, 'cos he's be just the right size, comparde to the 3P MP Brawn and Huffer I have by the looks of it.

Well... If Cliffjumper was a Porsche then he'd be a smaller, sportier-type car, and might have a similar wheel-base to the VW Beetle. So it's possible that the robot mode parts could be re-used, but there'd have to be a lot of re-engineering done to change the Beetle car body into a Porsche. But it wouldn't be a simple job, and probably wouldn't be worth Takara's time to do. Or it might. But only Takara can answer that...

Does HLJ charge up front for preorders, or when the item comes in?

Awesome! Thanks! Now to figure out if mailing fees makes it worth it, or just stick with bbts.

I really do like this. I can't explain. TFormers just linked these from Amazon Japan, but I think they were already on the HLJ preorder.

Pinwig: your pic link wasn't working - TFormers doesn't like links to images
For the record he's linked to the first pic on the left, under trhe main picture, of G2 BB in Robot mode. and very nice it is too.

Ok, I'll remember that. It must have just been showing for me. All of a sudden that figure looks great to me. I usually see the figure rather than the paint job, but in this case that gold just makes it.

But yeah, this looks well nice. There was a gold version of Classics BB done in the united range and that looked fab too.
