It's odd seeing those figures with the RiD circular logos. I wonder if they scan into a Japanese app.

That would be fine if you only ever wanted him in car mode, but the robot is a truly awful toy. Terrible execution.

I've just noticed that Grimlock there has the legs dangling down almost like a second pair of arms - looks a bit like the "Slave Arms" on Appleseed's Landmates which mimic the movements of the operators arms.

Admos looks good. Powerglide is massively cheapened by the RiD logo...

Man, this is confusing now. The Legends and Adventure lines are all over the place in terms of what they're releasing. We've got stuff in both lines mixed together from at least five American ones.

OK... Adventures. tfwiki.net/wiki/Japanese_ID_number_list#Transformers_AdventureObviously most of the stuff is from RID 2015: 1 line. Roadblock is a Generations T30 repaint: 2 Swoop & Slug are from animated: 3 Dreadwind & Croc Out are from Beast Hunter: 4 Bombshell is from Generations Combiner Wars: 5 Grand Vehicon General is from Prime: 6! Prowl & Junkion are from AOE: 7!! So SEVEN lines have been used in adventures so far!

And only one of them is actually in the accompanying cartoon. Or is there going to be a Japanese version like there was with Beast Hunters/Go? Which, when you watch them in order, isn't that bad you know. I liked it. I thought some of the metaphysical imagery was particularly effective. Interesting rhythmic devices too...

Several toys are in the cartoon, I just listed the first from each line that I came across working down the ID number list. Or did you mean only one line? Legends list is up too now at tmukhub.proboards.com/post/200181/thread

Yes, one line. Just the RiD ones.
Do we know what 'Grand Vehicon General' actually is? a repaint of which mould?

Hmmm. I've got the Takara version of that. I hope they do something with it to differentiate it because I love those vehicons. I suppose he's got the Hasbro gun there and not the arms micron. I expect he'll be white won't he, to match the Jet Vehicon general.

The mould in the photos is distinctly the Hasbro version cos it's missing the 5mm port forward of the front wheel. But yes, white is what I'd expect too.

Nice deco, if simpler than the gold flames version. I'm getting a Joker vibe with the white face and green hook.

I have to say, those RiD-style logos do nothing for those Insecticon molds. Well. That's not entirely true. They make them look infinitely worse. Nicely trolled there, Takara...

Worse yet, is they remolded them with a nurid style circular imprint.
I like the app game compatability, but how hasbro and takara are doing it is the asthetically worst way possible.
