Just waiting for the last ever tutorial of my 6-year second degree to start (assuming I pass the last module). End of an era.
Took the last two days off work and spent most of them in the OU library online doing research. Shattered.
Then, this evening, and from now until May 26th I start work on the last two Assignments. 48% of the assessed work yet to complete (an 8%'er and a 40%'er to do). With a busy job on top, I genuinely feel permanently knackered.

My head has blown up and I''ve had a complete meltdown this morning. Thank fuck I work from home.
Too many things not going right at the same and the last straw was my personal laptop bricking after a Windows update so can't progress course work.
Fucking knackered.
Not had a day off this year.

the last straw was my personal laptop bricking after a Windows update so can't progress course work. When you get it back this time, disable the updates - do you know how to do this? I seem to recall this happening before. It's obviously struggling anyway so I don't think any further updates will help it. Can you remember what sorted it last time - which I think was here tmukhub.proboards.com/post/467164/thread - the posts following may have something useful. EDIT tmukhub.proboards.com/post/467166/thread says www.dummies.com/article/technology/computers/pcs/undo-windows-update-245419 Press the Windows key + i to open Settings. Choose Update and Security. Click the Update History link. Click the Uninstall Updates link. The Control Panel's Installed Updates windows appears. It lists all updates that Windows monitors, which includes Windows updates as well as updates to specific programs. Choose the update you want to undo. The updates are categorized by program and then by date. Choose the top item in the Microsoft Windows category to remove the most recent Windows update. Click the Uninstall button that appears on the toolbar. Not every update features the Uninstall button. Minor updates may not show the button. Follow the directions provided on the screen. If prompted to restart Windows, do so. The update should be removed successfully and your system restored. If not, or when the computer won't start, boot the system into the Windows Recovery Environment and enter safe mode. You can also use System Restore to recover from a bad Windows update. If you can't access System Restore in Windows or in safe mode, use the Windows Recovery Environment. Bring it with you next time you come and I'll have a look at it. But I think, post degree, get a new laptop

I am so bloody tired. Last regular essay in for today. On draft #3 of the last big bit of work (a 40%er). Hoping to get it finished and submitted on Monday (2nd). That would be 24 days early but I have reached the end of my rope and just want it all done.
Then...after 6 years it's all over and I wait until the end of July for the degree result.
Absolutely ******* shattered. Between work and study, have been chained to my desk for months. No wonder my gut keeps expanding.
I have found myself staring into space, wondering how I got there.
Maximum channeling should be directed towards Ken, however. My travails are as nothing compared to his situation.

Yup. All material has been submitted and received. Literally nothing to do now but wait on the result in late July.

Wednesday Morning. Operation: Kick Cancer's Ass is a go. My op is at 7am and I have to take a covid test and not eat/drink beforehand. I will be under general anesthetic and set to stay in hospital for 2 days. I'm scared but won't back out.

Starting yesterday and over the next 2 weeks, I am attempting to reduce sertraline medication dose (on the advice of my GP). Timed to when I don't have work or study on. Last night/this morning was rough.

Can I get some channeling for Suki. Sickness and diahorrea yesterday. She looks a bit better but still not right. Dad will be taking her to the vet while I am in the office.

Ralph is on only his 2nd intercity train in the covid era. This one is much longer: about 3 hours. Shitting myself. No one is masked up.
Couldn't get near food places for breakfast at station as it was utterly rammed.

Had a big head wobble on the way back when changing trains but otherwise fine. Couldn't cope anymore with regular public transport so very greatful to be working from home.
Managed surprisingly well at Glasgow Comic Con (first such event in 3 years). Hopefully this had given me some tactics to manage TFN. The covid era means I struggle with crowds and enclosed spaces now.
I couldn't go back to office working.

Channeling for tomorrow morning, please. Catch up with the GP. May have reduced meds too soon so need their valued opinion. Also going to ask for a letter as I have decided to declare my disability to my employer. Looks like my recovery will take longer than I had imagined.
