Those little text boxes remind me of Scott Pilgrim, whenever a character appears for the first time.

That's a design, alright.

Did a rough pshop job. Marvel inspired (of course) The overall shape/design isn't bad, just the piss poor colour scheme. Andy I agree about the basic design not being bad. I actually think it's a really strong design. When I first thought big budget live action TFs, this is more or less what I imagined. Identifiable vehicle parts making up the robot mode in a more complex, but still realistic way. You can almost work out how he transforms. You can't do that with any of the Movie 1 designs. At least as of AoE, they got rid of the skeletal "my organs are on the outside" designs.

That Megs is rocking a bit of a Straxus look. And not Galvatron. Hoping they've got rid of those ridiculous nanobot TFs entirely.

The "cheap-digital-effect-i-cons"? they were hilarious. Not for reasons which were intended, but hilarious nevertheless.

My Godfathers.
Just read through the last couple of pages of this thread...
This film is going to be utter shit.
I now declare the following-
I WILL ONLY GO SEE IT IF PROWL IS IN IT.
Even then, it'll still be shit. Prowl's good, but no 'bot save this distater of a movie franchise.

James Herriot Museum is in Thirsk. Nice market square clock...a pub that does decent food. Admittedly it has been a few years since I was there, and one or more of these things may no longer be present... Karl

Yeah Thirsk is nice enough.
Just a huge leap from small North Yorks market town to Baytastic Robot Shitfest.

It is a valid question though. Why Thirsk specifically? Or the a19? There are hundreds of small market towns in this country, and A roads, many much closer to travel hubs and other identifiable locations we know are being used like Stonehenge. So why go all the way to Thirsk? Has any other filming happened in that neck of the woods to make it worthwhile?

I'm guessing it has something to do with whats in the fields around, no idea what that is but that's usually why you chose that!

There's nothing! Nothing! The A19 between Thirsk and York is one of the dullest roads I've ever driven!
