It reminds me a lot of the animation model actually
Edit - which you just pointed out, yes.

Which would be in keeping with Takara's ways. I think it looks a superb set. The only one that looks off to me in vehicle mode is Lightspeed because that mould is so clearly Wheeljack, but everything else is very smart and unexpectedly original looking, given we've seen the base moulds several times before. Perhaps that's a reason why Hasbro didn't use Wheeljack for Lightspeed - because it really does look like him.
Sorry Scrounge.

I hope they paint Lightspeed like one of the digibashes, making the white part significantly longer. With Strafe using the Blastoff mode this is a no brainer must have awesome set. Especially for those like me who only have CW. It means we get 2 new molds - Afterburner and Strafe - and a radical remould in Nosecone (unlike Hasbro Nosecone who is just Brawl with a little drill).
Outstanding. Coloring will go a long way. Especially curious to see Afterburner.

There can't be a very large pool of relevant names to draw from. Doubt I could name an Autobot shuttle, let alone a yellow one.
Apart from Sky Lynx.
Ooh! 'Discoloured Sky Lynx'
There you go. Job done.

One has a yellow space shuttle stuck to it. One also has a tank for a leg, and the other said "No tanks, I'm fine" when offered the same. Karl

The ones in the Movie are vaguely yellow as is the Ark Hmm I feel that's more of an orange, Big Phil. Can't even be said to be vaguely yellow. They were orange. And a dark orange at that.

That's the kind of thing that would work really well as a Botcon twinpack. Those two really do need a proper update for the Wreckers' shelf. The FoC ones don't cut it.
