CW Computron hands & feet. Mega Octane's gun is UW Scattershot's (I think) some other new weapons too Nope, I see elsewhere that they're UW Constructicon guns. |

Nice colours, like that a lot. I'll see what the finances say come March. You know, these combiners still excite me a little more than the TR stuff does even though the moulds have been used to death.

I think that this set is very nearly perfect, qc issues allowing.
The extra weapons make a big difference especially with Dorailer give him the guns on his back and in his hands, and bigger cannons in vehicle mode and giving Baldigus combining guns.
Not 100% sure about the Computron hands and feet but they work welll on Habsro's Computron. Glad they, and the head & chest, are the gold colour like the Japanese release but didn't really expect them to go Hasbro grey (why did they do that?)
Love the alternate Blast Off robot getting a use here too.

Thing is, given the exchange rate now I can see this easily being £140. I hate the way that situation has been accepted 'because Brexit'. If the pound was doing this and that wasn't the cause, the country would be in crisis.

The fact that several major investment banks are currently exploring moving their operations out of this country and into continental Europe would make me argue that the country is in crisis, it is just that our government and a sizeable chunk of the population don't feel that they are responsible for it or need to do anything about it because Briteeeerrrrrnnnn!!!! Anyway, back to the subject at hand - I think Baldigus looks absolutely fantastic. I'm actually more enthused by this than I was when these molds were used for Bruticus. Partly because I prefer the colour scheme, partly because I have a soft spot for the characters as they were around in the era I was just getting back into buying TF toys (Car Robots was the first line I imported anything from). The extra accessories are nice to see as well. Karl |

That colour scheme is really speaking to me. I think I need a Baldigus. Very glad now I didn't go for UW Bruticus on top of the Hasbro one. This is a much better idea.

I'm frankly annoyed with myself for even getting Bruticus. I haven't yet but always intended to get G2 Bruticus and Baldigus looks great. Plus Mover makes pretty good G2 Blast Off. And the good hands and feet
And I cant believe how much better Blast Off looks that way around. I seriously think I might have bought Unite Bruticus if I had known I could have transformed him like that. Well maybe not, those colours were truely awful.

G2 Bruticus is significantly cheaper and you can have a few nice dinners with the difference in cost.

Super Optimus- Hotspot, new chest, and new head (though lower priority)
X-Brawn- First Aid, new head and new trailbreaker-like left arm, to plug the combiner fist into.
Sideburn- Dead End, new head and chest
Prowl- Streetwise, new head and chest
Ultra Magnus- Rook, new head (though low priority. The existing head works surprisingly well)
TAI- Groove
Combined mode is Omega Prime- New head, uses computron hands and feet.

We were guessing December originally because it fit the bi-monthly release pattern, but since announcement it's always been Jan.
