Oh my word that might just be the best combiner of the lot. Looks even better than Takara Computron.

So far around the time of a Unite boxset release we've started getting hints about the next but one down the line. So - Megatronia's due out this week. Is there going to be a further set after Baldigus, or are we done?

Lot of people want to believe Liokaiser is coming next with a cool new two robot body which is why they didn't buy the Hasbro version.
They may be disappointed.

What if it does, but it's remolded RiD Crash Combiners? I dunno. I mean, it's not IMPOSSIBLE, Takara love their crazy moves, and Victory was big in Japan so maybe it'll be worth it to them. Have Hasbro eat the remold costs and then pay for some weird new torso.

Lot of people want to believe Liokaiser is coming next with a cool new two robot body which is why they didn't buy the Hasbro version. I can't see that, but it does look like Takara are being careful to use everything that Hasbro have released, right down to small things like giving Baldigus Computron's hands and feet. While they've kept repaints of the moulds to Mall releases, it feels like they wouldn't pass up the chance to use a bunch of new heads for another go. It might be too far into the line for big time remoulding, like they did for Bruticus, but surely Lio Kaiser is a home run over there? I bought the US one as insurance, but unlike the flip I did for Victorion, I doubt I'd get my money back selling that set to fund a Takara version. Victorion had gone out of stock everywhere when I sold mine, so I recouped the outlay totally, but it seems Entertainment Earth had a ton of Liokaisers made and he's still readily available.

Slap a new head and chest on the "hotspot" and she'd be a perfect Megatron.
I'm convinced this is misnmamed so the Voyager Hotspot should be named Megatronia and the combiner Mega Empress

That does make a lot of sense actually.
Seeing these two releases next to each other makes me glad I decided to switch. I have no problem with Victorion's colours, I saw them in hand when I had the boxset and they were okay by me, but the neon and black is even better. May have to find some different black feet though. Those don't look too good.
Not sure about the 'soaping' picture though. Err...

The Voyager looks like a female Megatron so would be better known as Megatronia The Combiner doesn't look like Megatron but is nice and big, so Mega Empress Pinwig gets it: That does make a lot of sense actually. No, Phil, no. Your mad campaign to rename Transformers rather than what it says on the box must end! Their names are already correct!

Indeed. Mega Empress sounds much grander - that should be the combiner name. Megatronia is a straight swap for Megatron.
