They probably wont be as bad as the old gps, but it seems at least a few toys with questionable plastic have slipped through. Botcon Megaplex may have issues as do another couple that I cant think of right now. |

Okay, so here's a thought.
We all know one of the weirdest things was Hasbro doing Liokaiser, while Takara ignored it. Especially considering everyone got new heads.
What if Takara has been waiting to use PotP Starscream as Leozack?

Okay so I do think UW sets will return in some fashion.
But I think they will not be as predictable this go around.
Abominous is assured.
Volcanis (or whatever dinobots is called) is too.
It seems like Liokaiser using PotP Starscream as a base is likely, as possibly Dinoking in some way.
However an Autobot Girlfriends combiner seems... difficult. They wank off way too hard at Sunbow, so I can't see them using PotP Elita-1 as a base because it's not sunbow enough. She was a car, not a jet with hulk limbs. Likewise straight repaints/minor retooled torsos seem rare. Only Valdigus bucks this rule.
This makes a new combiner with Inferno at it's center problematic, as well.
I'm not ruling either of these out, but based on takara's shying away from straight repaints and minor retools that are basically straight repaints over the last few years-
-They ignored Quake, Krok, and Breakaway who have unique faces, and relegated others like UW Grand Scourge, and Legends Bat Convoy to exclusives statis.
It seems some of these may fall through the cracks.

Takara did do some non-Sunbow combiners last time like the Prime one. The pattern was that all the repaints were mall exclusives. I think I remember working out there were no moulds repeated across the retail boxes. Except maybe Superion.

I don't think a female Autobot combiner is that hard to imagine, that might actually be why they turned Victorion into a Decepticon.

I don't think a female autobot combiber is out of the question. I'm specifically saying one based around POTP ELITA is. Because she specifically is not sunbow enough which they hate, AND she goes against the no molds repeated rule. |

Ah, but Mega Empress isn't Sunbow either, and I reckon Elita-1 will be a major Starscream remould as opposed to a repaint. The problem is not having enough limbs!

Me too. I regret passing on Devvy before so I'll be having this. It'll be expensive though.
I never opened my aerialbots so there's potential for a part exchange there.

The fact they're doing Superion suggests others will follow, but will it just be the retail sets or the Mall exclusives too?

ID have put Superion up at £120, which is not bad I suppose, but going by the US preorder prices in comparison I was hoping it'd be a bit lower. (BBTS - $225 for Devvy, which is £172 - pretty much the same as Kapow, BBTS $135 for Superion, which is £103).

Also Quickslinger by default in place of Alpha Bravo, so the right team. Nice display box in which toys can be replaced, rather than irrevocably removed as with the Hasbro Deluxes.

I almost put my Hasbro Aerialbots on eBay today but I remember how Takara cancelled a load of Legends reissues based on poor orders. Be just my luck to end up with neither.
