I somewhat suspect Buzzsaw may combine with a later-issued Legend. Redoing the Slamdance thing.

Combine him with Overkill and create Buzzkill. Tell me that's not something that should happen.

So 'Titan Wars'. Is this an official term, or have fandom just made it up? I love it, but where's it going? So far we have Metroplex and Fortress Maximus. Not much of a war. I know Devastator's marketed as a 'Titan', but he seems a good chunk smaller than Metroplex to me. Will there be more Titans? Decepticon Titans? Where can 'Titan Wars' go? What would we need to make it a War?

Thanks for all that, Big Phil. Very interesting times ahead. Feels just like when Combiner Wars was first announced. Possibilities of some fun figures coming our way.

I've a feeling I may get into trouble asking this (Seeker-level trouble), but why is 332 a holy number?
Edit: No! Wait! It's the number of issues of the UK comic isn't it?! Phew, saved!

phew
Ahem, so, wish list teritory but I wanted to keep it specific to Titans....
In the hope they do a new Titan mold, to make it more of a War....
Who would you like to see?
I'd love a Titan class Unicron. As large as Metroplex. Imagine that.

Oohh and Omega Supreme, as large as Devastator, then they can fight each other. This line could be an expense an storage nightmere.

It is a tantalising thought that the reissue Trypticon might herald a Titan version. Originally I thought that would never happen because Trypticon is just too bulky compared to Metroplex, who is really rather skinny in his Titan mode. But having now got the benefit of actually having a Trypticon I don't think it'd be impossible to make a bigger one because he really is just the torso block. The only transformation is folding his legs out to make the sides of the city.
I dunno. It still seems a long shot to me that we would getr a Con the size of Metroplex. But now we've seen Devastator next to Metroplex, Devastator does look decidedly small in comparison, so if Titan Wars is Metroplex/Fort Max versus Devastator, then it'd be a bit one sided.
There is also the fact that the original Fort Max was ridiculously large compared to his natural opponent Scorponok. Maybe not all Titans have to be two feet tall, and if Max is going to square up to anyone it should be him.
I dunno. This is hard to predict. I hope we get it all a bit more defined at SDCC, but even then this range isn't coming until at least next summer so it may even be New York Toy Fair before we see anything solid.

I think anyone expecting multiple HUGE transformers from Titan Wars is going to be horribly disappointed.
I'm wondering if the name is a poor choice, after all Titan is a much overused word in TFs at the moment referring to at least three different size classes: the generations titans, the bubble bath bottle movie and RID toys and the tiny titans.

I agree. In the last three years we've had Metroplex and Devastator, so from that you could say that Hasbro feel there's a market for a $150 toy once every two years. Fort Max looks like a remould, so less of an expense to them, but even so the possibility of more than that seems unlikely. It'd be possible to beef up the Leaders though with more accessories, that size class seems to have become a regular thing now.

Leaders returned with T30 Jetfire and went on to include the Megatrons, Thundercracker, Ultra Magnus, Starscream and Skywarp.
I can see the Leaders going up in price next year and gaining a Legends component: legends Buzzsaw existing makes me think where's Laserbeak and the answer is with Soundwave.
I can also see the Leaders loosing the legends component a year later and staying at the same price!

With Fort being redone Metro - could Trypticon be turned into Scokpie? If they got the mode right

Not pleased with Max being so huge as it's way out of character. But if they did Scorp in this scale, that's just wrong.
Tryp would best be kaiju, base, starship. But I fear they would make dinosaur, robot, base. And then make the repaint/retool into Grimlock.
If they want Titans to be a viable class, they need to get more clever than they currently are. I would personally rather see new characters/concepts in the titans, than to shoehorn things into it that are just wrong (like Scorp).
Homage characters perfect for titan:
Trypticon (and thus Gigastorm) Tidalwave Omega Supreme (g1 AND animated) Cyb Metroplex Skylynx (full shuttle launchpad, with boosters and reserve fuel, crawler and such. Can be retooled into Countdown and/or Skystalker's micromaster bases) The Ark The Nemesis
New concepts abound, though. Would be awesome to see a titan class dinobot Sludge
But I predict next titan to be Omega. They're adverse to decepticons, non-g1, and new characters.

I think we could get another new mold Titan figure out of them. If it is just one more, then it should be a Decepticon as already mentioned. But as Big Phil's said somewhere, most of the Leader class are Decepticons, so maybe it's not going to be just about huge figures, which means 'Titan Wars' is indeed a bit of an odd name, again as Big Phil's already said.
Maybe they don't have to be quite as big as Metroplex. Maybe Omega could be Devastator sized and still qualify, perhaps that would leave room for one truely huge new mold Decepticon, or Unicron.

I doubt that you will see, across the run of Titan Wars, more than one or two Titan Class figures. I suspect that it will effectively be a "fiction layer" title, with the "fluff" being about how the Autobots and Decepticons are fighting over the mighty power of The Titans. Making it a War over Titans rather than a War of Titans.

Oh yes, awesome. And he's a combiner of sorts. His Armada figure is the right proportions to be blown up to Titan scale. Can't imagine it ever happening, but I want that. Omega Supreme first of course (never going to happen), but then Tidalwave.

Omega Supreme was an Headmaster so Hasbro could go that way - but we did end up with over stock for £20 in Homebargins. But it's a good toy & they could redo it without having the who ate all the pies Prime link up - unless they have worked doing CW Optimus being linked up? If they had a number of different 2 parts that you can link up so you could make your own Titan ie have 3 lefts & 3 rights - but with a note saying you can not connect a left to left right to right. So the crane could be changed to a rocket launcher.
