Only other store I've seen so far is TF-Source. Going to wait till Kapow or BBTS have it I think

Sounds like badly worded sales hype from an online store there.

I'm torn on this. Trypticon is cool for reasons of Trypticon. But the cost is less cool...

£140 from Kapow, due for June/July release. They only have 60 units available apparently.

Preordered. Omegalock have him as well, and they're usually cheap enough to make a difference but this time after postage is added they'll come out about the same. Besides, Kapow are doing it by deposit so I've got a month to get the money together. I can't see this one being significantly less than £140 from anywhere outside the UK once postage and import tax is added.
Cannot miss this one. Even if this is a reissue he's in the holy grail camp in terms of my wants.

Make a decision quickly is what you need to do; it really does look like this one's going to be limited. Which is bonkers because of all these reissues this is the one that despite the cost would probably shift the most to fans.
I suppose one way you could look at it is whether you're actively collecting G1 figures now. If not, then this is an expensive curiosity that costs as much as CW Devastator will. If you are, this is a valid way to get a figure who usually goes for a lot more.

They're not beating around the bush with this fella: In-hand images of reissue Trypticon in boxLook at all that wasted space! That's Masterpiece-Soundwave-level space wastage! Think of the trees, Hasbro! That box could have been half the size. I like that there's a close-up of Full-tilt's gun. It's in the sweet spot of easy to lose : desirable for completists and parts sellers on eBay tend to look for $50-75 for it. Which is deranged. -Nick

This is going to be soooo cool. Trypticon versus the Dinobots! at last!
I'm going to have to push Metroplex higher up the rebuying order.

Cannot wait! I'm going to party like it's 1986.
I'm wondering if it's just those photos or if the grey on this one is a little darker than the original.

I used to have Gigastorm and loved it. Trypticon would be nice to have but I lack the pennies. I am pleased to know he lives again, however, and his new owners enjoy making him mince across carpets in walking mode.
