I'll admit that the maketoys etc thing is something I'm not entirely comfortable with, and not a decision I would have made. Not up to me in the end though, it's their decision to make.
Good to see Jim Sorenson will be there though. He's a top bloke.

I reported on facebook the fact you can not at the moment book any tickets. I'll have to see if it is fixed tomorrow.

Excellent news.
I have my hotel room, tickets and travel sorted. After last years pleasant journey to and from Birmingham via train, this year will be like my first journey to AA....VIA MEGABUS.
Last year I managed to get return train tickets train tickets for about £50 from Glasgow to Birmingham. This year the same journey from Glasgow to Birmingham would cost £96, where as the Megabus is only £6 return. So common sense says while it is not the funnest trip in the world, saving £90 (well more £70 after travel to and from Kilmarnock to Glasgow and back, as well as from Birmingham Hill Street to International and back).
So I shall be arriving in Birmingham two months today at around 4am again. At least I won't get lost this time.

That's £70 to spend on toys. I've just seen that I can get to Leeds to Manchester for £3 return so I'll be checking out those comics marts more.
