TF archive hosted some translations and our very own Graham Thomson redubbed them (not quite an accurate translation but entertaining nevertheless).

Well the Japanese book was very thick and had everything up to Operation: Combination IIRC.

I've also got a pristine copy of the Japanese collection. It is indeed chunky. Great artwork. Not sure I really want to read it in English though. I've got the gist of it just by the pictures (it's mostly action scenes).
Unless it was done by a talented writer who could make the dialogue not _sound_ like a translation from another language.

Martin Viz translations usually have another writer do a localisation from the translation, sometimes the translator does it themselves, but they don't just give you a literal translation. I also expect this to be a few volumes long, not an English release of the slab of a book done in Japan. |

Haven't ordered those yet as wanted to see what vol. 1 was like.
I note the two sellers on Amazon offering it have both put their prices up over the course of the day. One has more than doubled it.
