I cancelled my order with Amazon the other day after getting a dispatch notice from the MarketPlace seller. Meant to arrive tomorrow or Friday.

I've got one coming in the post from eBay, though I was in two minds about it, as I've got the complete Japanese version already, and you can tell what's going on in the story from the pictures alone. So I'm not sure the translation will add much beyond StarDub-style dodgy dialogue.
We'll see!

I was of the same opinion as Martin as the Japanese version was good enough but the production values on this book are lovely and some of the pictures in the 'Illustrations' section are new to me.
I will get vols 2 and 3 now.

The translation does nothing, I'd have preferred it they'd used Graham's "dub", but as Ralph says the presentation is lovely and there's some art in there that was new to me. Would recommend.

I got mine on the 9th from Amazon too. I love it. Never having read any of the Manga I'm delighted to be able to do so in my native language. I'm loving how different it all was, starting in 1985 they just had both years of toys show up at the same time. But, as warned, the stories are light, episodic fluff. The art is GORGEOUS, and the production quality of the book is great. Very much looking forward to having the complete set of (currently) three. Volumes 2 & 3 were pre-ordered as soon as they hit Amazon but in the meantime I'm now hunting down scans of more recent Manga, pack-in fiction and the like. Have found a fair bit of stuff which is keeping me happy, fleshing out parts of the TF Multiverse I never knew existed. TF Archive seems to be suffering some link-failure neglect but if anyone has any links to translated material, of any era, from any other quarter I'd really appreciate it.

Blueshift did a fanzine of translated German text stories. I think there was a PDF too?

I'm very impressed with Volume 1. Mrs M likes the presentation of the material as well. Volumes 2 and 3 ordered.

Okay, what can I say. One of my irritating habits is checking prices and dates on items on my wishlists on a daily basis because occasionally you can catch a freak price fluctuation. On my wishlist vol 2 has had June 11th under it for weeks. I know this because I thought about preordering it last time I got paid but decided I could do it in June and it come out of this month's pay instead of last. I've also watched the price bounce around the £20 mark, for a while last week it was £19.84, which amused me.

Amazon has odd quirks. Sometimes I see release dates on my order pages but not on the main site or on wish lists.

Oh yes, absolutely. Wishlists themselves are inconsistent in what they show. The marketplace options keep coming and going, which is really annoying.

Just been reading the first arc in volume one. Fantastic fun. The combiners were so short changed in the UK comic because the movie stories came up so close behind. I'd love to see much more in the scramble city timeline with Magnus commanding Metroplex.

huh, it's been listed as in stock at German Amazon for weeks - it even went temporarily out of stock and back in. I've been waiting for a price drop, as v1. dropped significantly a few weeks in.
Particularly looking forward to this one as it collects the Super God Masterforce manga.
