Jim's got a point there. I only ever display transformers from the same line together, but even then half the time they don't look like they go together. But then that is part of the fun of Transformers, they don't have uniform designs or colour schemes.
That said, I do like it when they do work as sets, like for example the Constructions, or the new TLK Dinos all being grey/blue. Same moulds as AoE, but they look like they go together. I'm almost disappointed the new Scorn is all red because he'll really stand out.

As an aside I may be unusual in that I have never ever went in for organised shelves of toys. The point utterly eludes me. They go in random places. -Ralph NO! NNNOOOOO!!!! Sure, some of my Macross stuff is shelved together, but that is partly because if I want to have room to spread out the vast array of ordnance that comes with some of them it is more efficient to park them in a carefully arranged "v". But on the other hand my VF-25 is currently sharing shelf-space with three Movie Aerialbots, Stormshot, Stick Bernard's Legioss and it's associated Tread, and a half-reassembled GN-X type Mobile Suit. On the shelf above them stand Classics Optimus Prime, Botcon Skyquake,RiD Mini-Decepticon Scourge, Fire Convoy and ExKaiser... Karl |

I did give him _A_ one singular toy to look after!
The solution to the problem is going to involve sending chums up into the lotft of joy to gut the inserts and flatten all the recent Generations packging. That should create the floor space for us to clear the damaged unit and remove it from the loft replacing it with new plastic one.
But I think a ruthless cull of duplicated toys, moulds and chracters may be fast approaching to make some POTP space. There's two combiners mentioned upthread but there's numerous others as well. For example I don't think I can quite justify two of every TR toy (Hasbro and Takara). Then there's things like T30 Blitzwing, superseded by TR, and the red Inferno repint as Hotspot: I was using him as Inferno but there's a new Inferno coming with a ladder so... And when the £130 for two heads set comes out I'm not really sure I need two GodBombers and THREE God Ginrais...

When Metroplex arrives I will have three Titans boxes sitting empty in my loft.
What if I filled them with Legends boxes, which are the ones I'm most going to want to keep and keep the internal packaging of. That will remove the several large piles of Legends boxes which will be a start....

Not strictly a TF storage problem but ....
The Marvel epic collections have over run the higher of their two shelves. I could split the title on the end in two, and move some it's volumes down a shelf but that's a temporary solution at best. A third Epic Collection shelf is needed ASAP!
