Same boat. I would hate to have an incomplete MP mould collection, but I'm not sure this is going to replace the 3P efforts in my display. I thought about trying to get a refund on the payment I've made, but I'm going to do this properly as Ralph might say and wait until I've seen the toy before discarding it. Just an expensive way to go about it having to flip it on ebay if I open the box and burst into tears! Shockwave is too important a figure to me to have to 'make do' with, especially when this is £100 we're talking about.

There will be demand for this figure so if in-hand folk find they don't like it you'll have no problem getting most of your money back. Remember that at the end of the day...it's just a toy.

It is well known in these parts that Shockwave is my favourite Decepticon character since childhood (Blaster is my favourite Autobot) and yet...this is just a toy. Not one I can afford sadly (Ralph does not have earnings that allow for 3-figure luxury purchases) but I do think it looks exceptionally lovely in pictures! At the end of the day though...just a toy. Nothing to get stressed about.

It may be just a toy, but it is a one hundred pound toy! For that kind of money it's reasonable to allow people to have a few expectations and nerves, especially when it's a favourite character.

This is what I'm thinking. I was going to get Quakeblast, then decided not to when the official was announced, but when we saw how big MP29 is I went back to looking at the Quakeblast reviews and discovered that actually it's a pretty good figure - well liked. It's the right size, toy colours, has a more accurate look than Quakewave - especially in the legs - and I can't think of a reason not to buy him. Three MP Shockwaves is an extravagance, but I can always sell two.
