Oh as a diaclone it failed the moment I saw the lack of grey. The head though might make the Shattered Glass character work.

Having seen the penguins, it wiped out all memory of what it was supposed to be. I had to look very closely to discover the tentacles again.
Those pictures show the colour better, but the green is way off. Now it looks like a melding of Octopunch and Quickswitch.

I don't know about penguins- they look more like cartoon ducks to me.

Darker green would have helped sell it a little more, not that it really needs its, but I got a feeling the Octopunch green wouldn't have looked so great in hovercraft mode.
Head looks fine but I still want to find a helmet for it, maybe the original Octopunch one can be modified.

Oh wow you're right, it does rather feel like Quickswitch doesn't it!
The earlier test shot that came out, with the red head, was even more like him!

Now that people have mentioned the penguins that is all I can see when I look at him as well.
But that is fine, because penguins are awesome.

Well, the main thing people (who like it) seem to be complaining about is the lack of a headcrest - so the headwear theme continues!

Oh. Hmm.
Now I do love Metalhawk and I love the idea, but hmm, it looks nothing like his head/helmet. And that's a LOT of blue!

I think what was needed was gold. They could have applied it to the drone and parts of the wings so in jet mode the inner bot jet mode colours came through and in robot mode the gold would have broken up all the jet mode blue which almost hides just how good a match the robot mode is to the original.

Ah, now that one, I like. There's a bit too much blue as a jet but the robot's nice. The ridge on the helmet should be red for the crest and more of a manga face rather than a western style would have been nice, if less realistic. But yes, those things aside, that's the only one that's really grabbed me so far.

From the pictures at least, it looks like the head is in a hood or balaclava rather than a helmet. I'm a fan of big chunky helmets rather than lighter form-fitting things

The ridge on the helmet should be red for the crest I just noticed this on their Facebook page: "A big thank you to Paul Hutchison for pointing out the red crest from the original Metalhawk is missing on the BotCon sample we showed today. We are checking on this to see what happened. Thanks!"

Maybe the chances are good for the Drift mould to be used for Motorvators/Brainmaster elites. That gummy sword needs sorting out still.

Lots of chatter online about folk's CC details being comprised after ordering. The club responds in a most unprofessional way: yfrog.com/z/o0t8mspReally, it's better just to buy from the secondary market. -Ralph

It may just be a coincidence but so far TFW have around 30 people with a problem. The club probably had 2000-4000 orders so its only around 1%, but thats got to be enough to be a concern.
Are they really so scared of a loss of business they cant send out an email thats says there MIGHT be a problem and to keep an eye on statements for anything unusual.
If people arent checking now they can lose thousand before a statement comes in the post.
I'm ready to cancel my card already, but there a few things I need to buy with it first so have to gamble on waiting a little while.

The problem is that the product is good. Until now the problems have all been nuisances or inconveniences not serious issues.
A lot of people myself included should be renewing in the next month. This time their stupidity might affect them financially.
And i it isn't related to them, their poor communication with members may finally catch up with them anyway.

I put my money where my mouth is. I gave them a go. Bought a year's sub and bought one club figure. I've found the way they talk to their customers to be often insulting, shipping costs are ridiculous, the magazines are poorly produced and not packed well for shipping and the member's section of the website is barely used (updated once in the 11 months I have been a member) which is a valid criticism as that is part of what the sub pays for.
I will not be renewing and look forward to my membership expiring next month. I'm not happy with their service so don't see the point of giving them any more cash. I compare them to audio play producer Big Finish (the other company I buy subs from). Product is on time, well spaced out, communication to customers is polite, regular and well worded (and you get nice extras for buying direct). They also use their website and don't depend on customers having to search through social networks for updates. They appear to understand how to stay in business when they supply products to a small niche audience, which is what the TFCC also does so a valid comparison. Niche businesses will often have to charge higher prices due to small customer base so treating them well is the key to them staying afloat, especially when their products can sometimes be found cheaper elsewhere.
I used to buy from other sources but now buy direct from Big Finish due to the good customer service and extra benefits they offer.
I've bought TFCC product from sources other than them and received much better service.

I own some fanclub stuff, but it has all been obtained through the secondary market, because everything I hear about actually being a member just makes me shake my head in disbelief.
I'm not exactly enamoured of some of their product either. Their magazine is just painfully terrible for one thing.
I've not had a membership, and nothing that I've heard recently makes for much likelihood that this will change. If I'm going to do business online I prefer to do so with folk in whom I have more confidence.

I can not disagree with any thing Ralph said, The more I have to deal with FP the more fed up I become.
I renew because of Botcon, this year I have already registered so dont need to renew. I would like runamuck though. Frankly I didn't want to pay $79 (Im convinced they have to be pocketing some of the shipping money) for it after the last week or two I'm even less keen.
I think I might see if a friend in the US can accept my membership for me if I decide to do it, I'll givem $40 for the toy.
