Which one's the dud for your money then?

$300 is a lot but for 12 figures of the same standard as the ones we've gotten, thats not bad. Having said that given an option Im happy for Amazon on someone to get one of these out at retail every couple of months as is.

Blastoff. Terrible mold, terrible vehicle, not great robot, and we already had a better Blastoff that was a more appropriate vehicle and a better mold.
But three the other four I really wanted, and Arcee I don't mind a bit. So three absolute wants, and one I really liked. I wouldn't mind absorbing Blastoff, as this is a better success rate than both TFSS and MattyCollector's DCUC Subscriptions were.

Not what I'd thought you'd say. I can see where' you're coming from but OTOHhHe's proved popular and many are happy to see a CW version of the original Space Shuttle Blast Off in decent colours.
I like it.

It is the least interesting just because of being a straight repaint and because its replacing another toy versus being an addition.

I just did the shoulder fix on PCP out of curiosity.
Definitely makes a difference. When you peg the arms in place they stay firmly put, before the switch they tended to spring back out whick made it harder to wrap the sides and roof around them.
Still not sure if its a case of misassembley or just an accidental improvement.

I just did the "fix," too, and can add my voice to the confirmation of the improvement.

May not be universal, but it negatively impacts the robots. The shoulder no longer holds the weight of arms, leading them to droop a bit.

Got to agree with Jetty. I was very excited but Blast Off and I left me feeling..........hollow. Transformed once then put back in the box and I haven't touched it since.

May not be universal, but it negatively impacts the robots. The shoulder no longer holds the weight of arms, leading them to droop a bit. Mine seems fine, but that does seem a logical reason for them being designed that way and since most of them will stay in robot modes its not a bad arguement for leaving them be.

Indeed. That little edge on the piece seems to be there to support the heavier than average arms.

So I realized that with a slightly tweaked design, there's no reason the core Optimus Primal figure couldn't have transformed into a gorilla.
If his legs lower legs were designed slightly different, they could have collapsed or folded up into gorilla legs. And if his chest hinge were on a T swivel or a ball joint, it could have been double sided with a gorilla chest and swing out gorilla head on the inside. And a different way to store the robot head when in boogie board and super mode.

Does anyone know of a store that sells Punch/Counterpunch? I had one pre-ordered at Amazon but it was cancelled on their end. I can't find it in stock anywhere! Having two of the three boxes special editions irks me!

POTP Nemesis Prime is here! I wish I could talk to myself a year in the future. I've got this tendency to ignore black primes when they come out, and then pine for them twelve months later when they cost twice as much on the secondary market.

Sub £40, would be rude not to: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B079RH1D18/

£36 for a leader is good.
But why do I need it? Future me, tell me, why will I want this in a year's time? It doesn't serve any purpose beyond being a nice looking exclusive.

See, now Kapow have him back in stock I need to go there next incase he doesn't show up here at all. Overlord didn't even make the discounters so this could be last chance saloon for Optimal Op.

POTP OpOp is the best leader this year by a country mile for my money. His repaint is fab too! He's the best leader from the last several years, IMO. Potentially since they started up leaders again. And if you ignore the dumb boring standard "evil clone" stock story for Nemesis, this is the first one that works. It makes all the ridiculousness of the OpPrime mold actually work, if you imagine him as someone like Syndrome from Incredibles.
