To turn Dragstrip into a car would end up being almost entirely a new mold. To put that much work into it would have ended up putting P/CP on the general release slate, instead of a near straight repaint like Novastar. they could have plans that would justify that, or had plans since abandoned that justified it. |

I think if it had P/CP already built into Dragstrip, then that's the mold they'd have made FP use over Wheeljack.

I suspect FP wanted Wheeljack because it's effectively Sunstreaker and a tribute to the earlier Sideswipe/Sunstreaker Punch/Counterpunch.
A quick check reveals Punch was Sideswipe and Counerpunch Sunstreaker, adding some weight to that theory.

Sinnertwin. Such a shame his necks don't swivel, but another fun toy. Needs a bit of paint to break up the yellow in monster mode.
My cards with these Deluxes so far have all been Quintus. Is there a database anywhere yet that lists all the variations for the Pottop figures?

Because Counterpunch, it ain't. And even FP is smart enough to realize no one wants a doublespy who's only half. |

Cutthroat. Impressive alt mode when it's all pinned together. Actually benefits from having the combiner hand on the back to hold the wings in place. Gives the flat body some shape. Problem with mine is that the beak arrangement is really weak. Falls apart during transformation. Beak falls off, so does the jaw and the plume. Aside from that, he's great.
All five Terrorcons are out!

I had bits everywhere. Almost lost the plume down the side of the sofa. Not had any problems with the others but the head on this one comes off just manipulating it during transformation.
However, that doesn't detract from how much fun these chaps are.

Given the pre-order prices for Arcee and Grotusque, that isn't too bad. I seem to recall the initial preorders for Arcee were much lower than she eventually ended up at (was it 32 or something that went up to 40?). So, pre-order in. I need proper Blast Off.
