Just spent almost all of Star Trek: Into Darkness combining Abominus. What a dude! I'm thinking the feet look proportionally better and are more stable with the hand pieces at the front. Looks like he has clawed toes then. I might invest in the PE set for him. He needs some big guns. This really works though. Hasbro have learned from CW.
Have no compunction to combine the Dinobots though.

I note that Ben (of Ben’s Collectables) had speculated that the cockpit section might be borrowed (or adapted?) from one of the Diaclone moulds. It’s certainly not dissimilar and he did fit one of the new Dianaught pilots in it.
This figure is more and more becoming a must buy for me. The fact that all modes work fine with the pin removed to separate Primal and this tank fan mode. Plus the promise of Perfect Effect upgrades. It looks a lot of fun to mess with.

Is there anywhere selling Blackwing for less than £25? Everywhere appears sold out online. Also after the Prime Master Landmine, Bomburst and Submarauder.

Lovely. Blast Off's colours are right, chest is the right way round, original UW fist. Very happy. Actually I'm very pleased about the fist. It's unique to the Blast Off mould and not been used in the west before. It works with Blast Off's vehicle mode, looking like a shuttle booster and fuel tank. I can't recall if it pegs in under the vehicle or not. I'd have been happy with a POTP hand in silver, but it would need to have been silver to match the rest of the team. And the deco..... I'm almost happy we've been kept waiting for that official image because it looks a tad pale compared to the toy. Can't wait for this.... |

I kinda wish it came with BOTH the original HFG, and the Prime Armor fist. Then it matches it's real team, but is also actually "compatible" with the friggin' primemaster it comes with.
And you can also hand it off as a spare PotP fist.
Though while it's been mentioned before, I'd also like to add my voice expressing comfusion to the fact if Hasbro doesn't intend to actually make all thirteen primes in pretender form... then why on earth didn't they put new primes in with these?

When anything involving the words 'forward planning' and 'Hasbro' appear in the same sentence, I'm reminded of the bonkers numbering system the T30 exclusives had. If they can't manage to count to thirty without ballsing it up, there isn't really much chance for anything else. |

The point I was originally making is that it isn't beyond Hasbro to start something and change the plans half way through, so there's no reason to think we'll actually see all those Primemasters, or unique shells for them.
I wouldn't mind betting we get something out of sdcc though.

Wasn't the shell that was going to come with Grand Max a new one? If the tooling is there, there's no reason why that wouldn't sneak into an SDCC set.
