Slight criticism: Those Prime Masters are way too similar. Same mould, almost identical plastic colours, very similar paint apps. I'd have gone for something in red, yellow or green for one I think |

You know what, that could be a combiner still. I was assuming it had 2 heads, but it looks like its just one so if the head can stay in place in car mode, the cars wider than the robot so it probably can, there is room for a combiner port in the chest with the car roof opening at the waist. It probably isn't but it could be. I don't think it is. No Prime Armor or HFG. |

Despite Blast Off already being out in Asia, Hasbro is yet to officially announce any of these, or how to get them!
Very much looks like Amazon will have them but who else will....

There's a lot of new parts on Repugnus and surprisingly few obviously inherited from Twinferno. What is surprising is there are parts that were new to Grotusque on Repugnus. Not many, but having got my toy out and sat it beside the picture, I'm reasonably certain that the upper arms and hands on robot mode are shared between them. |

Looking more closely, not only is there no HFG, there's also no peg holes visible anywhere in the knees, nor in the bottoms of the robot feet that would indicate a leg or arm mode. |

Did you even bother to read what was in the photo above?
The box says Power of the Primes as well as Combiner Wars.
Chances are all three boxes say Power of the Primes, because this is a series of POTP exclusives.
Even if it didn't, I could still make a VERY good argument that they're POTP due to the Prime Masters providing a linking theme behind the set.
Now shut the f*** up about this, this is where they're going and I'll refer to them as POTP if I want to!

I'm definitely impressed with both of those - especially since (Counter)Punch isn't the Jazz retool we were expecting. My only hope is that he doesn't just have a face on either side of his head. That'd be... silly. Hoepfully there's a tilting mask, or something. And it's also a bit weird that he *doesn't* come with the HFG that PottoP toys are coming with, or obviously turns into a limb, since that's the gimmick they've reverted to. But there you go.

sounds to me like repungus and blastoff were originally lined up for exclusives in other sets and pushed back a set, or as they've been previously released that link is a homage to their original set.
