Ooh, thanks for the heads up. Got Repugnus and CP yesterday and SDCC Prime and BB from your Kapow links yesterday as well. Much appreciated Phil, you keep us all in toys.

Karl and I were only talking about the need to be in front of a computer at the right time for these things only yesterday. Yes indeed. One of the things that occurred to me recently is that in most cases I don't even bother considering buying a lot of these exclusives these days is the unlikelyhood that my being at my computer in the narrow window that they tend to be available in. A lot of these things sell out so fast these days that the likelihood of me being in a position to buy them is so small as to make them simply not worth considering. I tend to file them with the various amazing things that are released for Wonderfest - lovely to own, but rather impractical to obtain. Karl

What's the point of Amazon exclusives if they are region locked??? It's starting to annoy me. Well, they know how important nostalgia is to fans, and how important it is that nothing changes, or gets better, so they're helping us relive the 80s! "Want Shockwave? Devastator? Omega Supreme? Sucks to be you!" And to answer an earlier question, I skipped Bumblebee and the tapes after learning that the Conjunx wasn't really that fussed about them, since one of them's the wrong colour...

Huh! So he does! That explains the flipdown panels on his chests. And if he does have a CW connector, it's not attached to his head. Hard to see, but his shoulders look like a solid piece under his head.
Also, looking at the joints, I think it's possible to orientate his car shoulder pieces like Drift's, in CP mode

In fairness, it seems to me reasonably sensible that the toy which breaks the play-pattern for the size class is the one that isn't going to be available at retail, and is less likely to end up being sold to kids, than one of the ones that is. It seems to me to me the perfectly logical place to do it. And given that at no point had it been suggested by anyone with a reason to know that he would be a combiner limb...*shrug* Karl

Oh yeah, I'm not bothered about him not being a limb. I'm just slightly confused that they put a combiner HFG in with him. Especially when they packed one in with Blast-Off, who also had a Prime Master... and who they gave a Combiner Wars HFG which doesn't have the Prime Master mounting hole. It all seems fairly random.
As I say though, I'm not fussed either way. It's just odd.

My friend says he feels this unintentionally makes up for FP leaving the HFG out of CW Terrorsaur

Right, hang on. So the hand-painted/hot-glued nature of the WFC reveals at SDCC suggests they really are for the release slot Kapow traditionally gets in the first week of December, that would fit what we've seen in years gone by. So does that mean in the next four and a half months we've got Novastar, Repugnus, Punch and Wreck-Gar to come and that's it?!
Going to be a dry old autumn. I suppose that's to shift focus onto Cyberverse/BBTM.

Glad I got Titanmaster Repugnus. The first thing I'm doing is swapping the heads!
And then, of course, Repugnus will hold Repugnus.

I'm just amazed they managed to get three completely totally different monsterbots, with three completely different robot modes, and three completely different beast modes, and wring all three convincingly out of one mold.
As critical as i am of hasbro, the TR monsterbots, and TR targetmaster decepticons are spectacular feets of retooling.

The death of POTP hopefully doesn't mean an end to that ingenuity.
