When is the next big event? Then we know when we'll see the Leader Titan Optimus toy - they must have only done the head but not finished a final toy to show off unless they are doing another panel at NYCC? PM Optimus head pictured on the slides with Blaster blacked out.

Yep. Looks like I'll be breaking my "no repaints" rule...

I wonder if Hi-Q now sits inside the cab like Magnus and turns into a car, not an engine?
A no repaints rule is anti-G1. It would make no sense in TF collecting. Seekers, lots of the cars - repaints all. Hasbro is not doing something unheard of here.
In any event, I wonder if we'll get an Overlord to go with that Ginrai?

You can still see Blaster in the torso & legs. I can't wait to see clear images to see how the cab section works.

You can see Blaster because the Blaster Base mode is modeled after the original PM Prime base mode

It's more of a financial rule. To save myself from becoming ruinously broke in this day and age. Except for all the repaints I do have. Like the Generations Legends See-Strike Planes. And the Animated Activator See-Attack Jets. And three versions of the Cybertron Legends Starscream mold. That said, and whilst I actually have nothing against repaints per se (as long as they're good/interesting), back in the day I never had a single re-paint. So as far as collecting goes, not having repaints is pretty G1 to me...

It's real, proper images later today. Last night's escapees were from a presentation Hasbro gave the other day ebargoed till today.

*sigh*
Then why can't folk just wait a few hours until nice clear images are presented by the folk who make these things? Why must idiots leak grainy shitty photos for folk to squint at? Wait a few hours and you can see it properly!

Patience is a lost virtue, my friend.
That and the all pervading power of the NEWS SCOOP!
I mean, though. See a blurry image now, or a good one later it makes little difference in the long run, as I won't be owning anything in that price point until TFnation at least.

I have no interest in blurry pictures. I'm happy to wait for REAL ONES that actually show the toy and not splotches of undefined color, before I get excited.

I can see now that the cab is the magnus cab but with the whole trailer section being a remodelled Blaster parts. Explaing the Blaster blocked legs.

Prime's base mode looks mis-transformed: Where's the ramp links, seen on the inside front of his legs, in the base mode? The match those on Blaster's ramps

Okay, more coherent thoughts.
It's a little over-busy. I'm largely fine with the trailer mods. I do wish they had changed the front of the truck to a bit more traditional. Larger windows, smaller grill, and in robot mode the foldy uppy chest piece was a bit less over-detailed, and covered the PM Engine spot, leacing the windows uncovered.
I admit these are all minor nitpicks, and are absolutely not dealbreakers. The head ties it all together and helps distract from the business of it.

Awesome. Yeah. I'm liking this. I am liking this so very, very much. And as repaints go... it's not. So I can buy it to go alongside CW Magnus with a happy wallet. Well. A clear conscience. Well. Look, I'm buying it, okay?
