I shall wait. If there aren't, I'd imagine by then the amazon.com price will have dropped a bit on the Hasbro one. I'd go for that if it was cheap enough. Ultimately there are plusses to both. It's a whole Cerebros vs the red knees battle.

Is Takaras Fort Max still coming with a sword as well? I might just hold off on this one. If the Takara one is missing the sword/sword is rubbish then I'll get the 3rd party one if I can't get the Asia exclusive one at a reasonable price.

We believe the Takara Fort Max has the same sword, but in different colours. Believe as in we've seen no sign of it since the f***ing silhouette months ago. LG31 Fortress Maximus (September) ¥25000 Japanese sound gimmick According to HLJ ¥5000 is currently £31.48 (Galvatron closed preorder) so ¥25000 would be ¥157.40 However I don't think the Japanese version has been definitively seen at a show yet - they've used the Hasbro version - and we've certainly NOT seen the packaging yet. However it's odd the sword hasn't shown up in the meantime |

For just a second I contemplated springing for that just to try to put together a long haft so that Fire Convoy could have the Naginate-type affair from the finale. Then my wallet leaped up and slapped me on the back of the head again. (Second time this week, complete with it shouting "BAKA!" at me. I just saw FortMax in the wild, in the window of A1 Comics. I think I might want it. That said, it's £159.99. It'd probably make sense to get it here rather than TFNation and struggle with getting it home from Birmingham.
