It was £170. If I hadn't preordered the LG one id have snatched up SDCC version at £120 in a heartbeat.

Thanks, Boris.

Aye. This is all a bit mad. If I'd known the Hasbro one would be available for £120 I'd have gone for that. An extra fifty quid for a different paint job, a (naff looking to me) sword and a head that isn't as good as the Hasbro one...
This didn't happen to Devvy last year, he never came down. These shops must have massively over ordered stock, or as has been said, been trapped into big orders for the SDCC one.

Grr, curse you Hasbro!!!!!! I wonder if he'll be available seperately!

The Repro Labels set has some wonderful stickers for those Titanmaster scale rooms. Screens and panels and the like.

The Repro Labels set has some wonderful stickers for those Titanmaster scale rooms. Screens and panels and the like. Yes it does. Mine arrived a couple of days ago. I'll get around to applying them at some point. At some point after I actually get Max out of his box.

My delivery driver left the box in my bin. Not the smartest of things to do with £170 worth of goods.
Let's hope it's still there when I get home.

Mine ended up next door. I now have visions of delivery drivers across the country shoving Fortress Maximii anywhere they can fit them.

Good news is Fort Max was still in the bin. Bad news is it took up the full bin and was completely wedged in. Bit of muscle power freed it, I'm about to do some housework then open him.

Is he everything you ever dreamed??? He is very, very good. Hoping my hands will be good enough to get the screw out for Cerebros' batteries tomorrow, I was expecting him to work out the box. Connecting the head in base & battleship mode is a bugger, and the tower it forms could be better, I was fond of the original tower you could seat Spike in. Titanmaster pegs all over the place, more than I have Titanmasters for at the moment!

After doing all the grown up stuff I didn't have enough time to get him into his other modes but with his bot mode being this impressive I didn't need to. It's something you don't understand the real size of until you see it in the flesh. He's an absolute monster. That sword would scare off burglars.
I'm genuinely considering picking up the SDCC version as well for the city mode if I can still get it for £120 because I don't want to touch him.

Just a heads up (see what i did there?) Phil, in case you didn't know. The battery compartment isn't a flap, when you loosen the screw just tilt the hip and the whole panel comes down. If you already knew that, which I'm sure you did as there doesn't seem to be anything TF related you don't know, then just ignore me.

'What's the weather like up there!' (I've only just noticed the rude gesture Computron appears to be aiming at Max in this picture.)
