Tell you what, Dez, send me some of your toys, or maybe all of them maybe, I'll look after them for you, and then if you can't see your toys they wont remind you that, er, you know, you need other ones...
I was the one who let you know, I was your sorry ever after, '84, '85. Give me new toys and I'll decide, but I'm really only after, '84, '85.
I hate to say it, but you probably want to buy Phoenix. The guy is huge, won't fit on my Kallax shelves so need to score a new Detolf. So far I've only found one annoyance which is how the backpack clips on in robot mode to stop it flopping around like a .. floppy thing. On the other hand, a glorious shiny white beast.
I do like Jetfire it has to be said. Oddly I'm really drawn to the Sunbow jet mode, because it looks spot on and reminds me of a sticker in the old Transformers sticker album. Jetfire was always a figure I envied a friend having but I only got one myself a year or two back.
I am also a Fans Toys junkie and had intended to buy their releases by default. I love their stuff; they're the only Transformers figures that actually come close to feeling like Masterpieces to me.
When Toyworld went into meltdown recently I thought my chances of getting the green thighs and cartoon head for Constructor had gone up in smoke - especially as TFExpress said Toyworld were no longer talking to them and they couldn't get the pieces in. I'd preordered them in January.
But... Chimungmung have provided. Green thighs and new head have just arrived. All I'm missing are the footplates to steady Long Haul, but I can live without those. So. Having waited this long to get all the pieces in place, summer holiday job #1 is to finally combine Devastator!
Which at the speed I go will probably take me until September.
