Yeah, that's the problem with record players. They're getting pretty pricey for a halfway decent one. You'd ideally need one that you could plug into an amp with external speakers for best sound, but most I've seen in town have all got inbuilt speakers.

More than a tenner. My copy got hit with a £21 charge. Vs the $26 cosy of the album itself.
Very nice looking though, despite that accursed stock art sneaking onto the back.
And most importantly, sounds great.
Though I'm not sure why it's in a 2LP sleeve when there's only one disc.

Eh? Why £21? Mine was £12 in customs charges based off adding VAT to the £29 cost of the record posted. How did they make yours up to £21 in fees? Did you go for some mega expensive postage option?

It's bizarre. The most that should be is £12 for the higher level fee plus 20% of the cost price including postage. £21 seems like plucking random numbers out of the air.

Yup. My order came through with zero CUTA. Marked as 'gift' on the custom declaration.
Now to acquire...a player! Reorganising of livingroom begins today to make space for one.
EDIT: Annoyance at the cover having a tear top left hand front corner. Grrr.
Also the cover art looked fine in thumbnails but is horrendous in person. Awful horrible black marker pen like blobs over the characters. Och well. It's the music I want.

Makes no sense at all. That said, even at 128kbps this YouTube version is much better sounding than the recording I made from the discs on that naff record player.

Thing is, I actually prefer the sound on vinyl now I compare it to the (absolutely fine) digital versions on the TF Hasbro youtube channel. It has a certain something to it. I do put it on for a spin a lot.

Pity. I did download them, but they didn't do the whole album anyway. I think they managed 30 of the 40 tracks and even then it was 128kbps quality. A proper digital version of that album still needs to be released, CD or download.
