I think a good way to get toys opened up is by setting everything up in a battle scene then take lots of photos - but they might end up not touched for ages after this depends on how good the scene looks or maybe some toys might fall over.

The actual count is beyond measure because it's hard to define now what I'm genuinely keeping misb and what I intend to open. I don't actually know myself. Take Thrilling 30. I never opened any of the deluxes and I have them all except Crosscut and Megatron, but do I now actually need to open any of them?
If you want a total of Transformers I own that are unopened, it extends back as far as Beast Wars Transmetals. It'd be in the hundreds. I'm going to get over this with CW and TR though because even my head understands I'm not able to enjoy them fully without opening them. I don't know why it becomes such a thing with me. I guess I like pristine things and get enjoyment from that.

That's a lot. I managed to get my display units the way I want them today so all its left me is to open the rest of my collection and arrange the display. There's about 50 or so unopened and 2 small boxes of open figures to go out and I abandoned it for another day because it seemed like a lot.
But hundreds? Jeez. You thought about drafting in some help and holding an opening party? You get your figures opened and you don't have the struggle of convincing yourself that you can't just leave them MISB.

Even the *thought* of that many blister packs being irrevocably rent asunder all at once has brought me out in a cold sweat, which is quite a feat on a night like this.
Hundreds isn't so many... a combiner is five for a start, so that's 25 because I've got all the retail waves and only opened up Menasor. But I willlllllll.... I prrrrooooomiiiiissseeee!
I could start right now. I need to join the Crashbash club.
