A few suspicious rounds of Mario Kart Wii Online were played by my brother last night. He was playing on DK's Snowboard Cross with about six or seven other players from around the world when all of a sudden some of his opponents kept on disappearing and then reappearing again. Some fell down holes on the course and were put back on track several yards in front of my brother while others just disappeared while just a few inches in front of him and reappeared again a few yards down the track. There were also cases of players behind him also disappearing and suddenly reappearing again in front of him. Were his opponents using cheat discs to play online or is this a glitch with the online mode?

It's probably compensating for lag. If the updates for opponents locations don't come in in good time, I presume the software predicts where they'll be.
