MP Ironhide was ¥10,800, Inferno is ¥14,000. So ¥3,200 more to start with.....

...and then the plummeting exchange rate.
Right then. Guess I'll be buying all the Wave 1 Titans Return figures I can find before the re-stocks arrive at a higher price.

MP Ironhide was ¥10,800, Inferno is ¥14,000. So ¥3,200 more to start with..... That's a good comparison. However, Shockwave's list price was 16,800 according to HLJ, so you've got: List Price - UK Import shops price Ironhide 10,800 - £60-65 Shockwave 16,800 - £100-110 Inferno 14,000 - £130 However I think there may also be a fair amount of guesswork going on and Kapow have listed high and then brought the price down before. ID are offering Inferno for £105 on an early bird, and Kapow's is £110. Odd because ID are usually more expensive than everyone else. TFE are at £105 too. So really we're looking at Shockwave type prices for a figure which in Japanese prices is half way between Ironhide and Shockwave.

Yep. Prices are rising. Maybe we need a thread for it. The next batch of Legends deluxes have gone up on TFE. They were £25 for the first wave, £30 for the Chromedome wave.

Ouch.
I know Kapow have had a silly deal on Skullcruncher, Hardhead and Weirdwolf.

Real example - Victorion is $72 on Amazon.com at the moment, which taxed and shipped comes to £85. In the week pre-referendum that would have been £75, a very appealing price.

So around the point the Ironhide pre order went up we'd have got ¥185 per pound. Now it's ¥125, effectively 1/3 less.

Okay, objectively, £75 for four deluxes, one legend and a leader... yeah, I'd take that.

eep. I replied to Phil's post earlier but it seems to have vanished. Proboards playing up? I think it's a very striking looking figure and I'd love to own one. I held back on a purchase when the Takara one became apparent, and then spent the money elsewhere yesterday.

Super Ginrai up on TFE for £70. Soundwave £60. Apart from that being a disappointing price (and they're usually cheaper than Kapow), I wonder what the difference is for. Maybe Ginrai is getting some die cast parts?

It will indeed. Customers will migrate towards digital and UK newsstand reprints which will seem even cheaper now!

I think they're talking about concurrent publishing rather than waiting a year for reprints

The comparison there is with Marvel UK, who also waited 18+ months to reprint anything.
The only real exceptions were Star Wars, till midway through the Empire/Jedi gap, and Transformers
