Hah. I was being sarcastic of course. I've counted 204 distinct uses of the Minicons in the Armada teams over Armada, Armada's in line Repaints, Energon, Universe, Cybertron, Micron Legend general retail, X-Dimension, Media, Micron Booster, Micron Legend promotional Offer & Galaxy Force Offers I'll do the rest of the pack in Minicons later If you limit to only ones released in Armada or Micron packaging it is probably manageable. Get a list together and a load of us could work through them and comp them together later.

Finally back on a solid internet connection. So from what I read is Stuart doing a Panini overview, a letters page, or both? I'm happy to reprise my letter answering role, but if that's already being done I'll think of something else.

Stuart's doing an overview of Panini It was suggested that someone do a letters page in the style of the VERY ANGRY PANINI STARSCREAM that feels like an amazing idea but we've not had a volunteer yet. Tragically I no longer have my issues so can't provide any scans of what it was like if you're interested

I will endeavour to tailor it accordingly. I'll dig out my Armada comics next time I'm in the archive to gauge the tone then start a questions thread like before. That worked!

What about a story more going less with the collect them all aspect from the line but more like Mini-cons (maybe new ones) having mystery power line the combiners

If anyone is in need of inspiration, here is the frankly amazing second Japanese opening (the first is a bit rubbish)

Karyudo - the folks who did the Beast Wars II package we all recently got excited about - have previously done a similar one for this series - the finished Japanese animation with subtitles and the English dub as a second audio track option, along with all the kind of extras the Beast Wars release had. Obviously there is a commercial DVD available for Armada from amazon.com, but this is slightly different. www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=635049

Hi, I've been reading the thread some great interest. What must be over 10 years ago I was submitting work to Panini (and other comic companies) hoping to get my big break and I had finally found an editor who was interested in my work. Everything was done in snail mail back then but I received a reply and a script. I was so happy to finally get a positive response and I got straight to work on the strip. It was a very simple story aimed at a much younger audience than the marvel UK transformers I had grown up with. The script seemed to follow the cartoon to a degree but had a few differences. I posted photocopies of my pencil work off within a few days. About a week later I got a very strange reply. In the letter it explained that he (or she, sorry I don't recall) was very sorry for wasting my time but the comic was being cancelled but my samples were very good and good luck with the future etc. And oddly the letter came with a check, not a very big one, but to an out of work artist it seemed amazing, especially as we had no contract and I wasn't expecting payment. I never managed to get in contact with the editor again and never finished the story. I've put some of the pages on deviant art and mocked up the lettering so people can enjoy the story. I hope you enjoy it. we66y.deviantart.com/art/Transformers-Armada-comic-pg2-253276118

That's fantastic! I wonder if the script you were sent was a try-out sample, or whether it was one intended for future issues.

I will speak to Andu and the Kaptain to see if anyone still has the TMUK Armada notes/stuff/the one issue that was done to see if we can get something workable out of it. -Ralph I'm not sure what I have - I know I do have somewhere the text "side-story" which reinvented the Armada kids for the TMUK continuity, but I don't know how useable that would be in this context. I will look it out and have a look-see what else I might have lying around in the archives regarding the Armada Project. Karl

I've got a writer friend who's keen on Armada who's interested in writing a script I could draw for the fanzine, what's the deadline for this project?

For the short armada comic strip im working on a mini con steals some data. My question is; do the cybertronians have a name for a large amount of data like a gigabyte ? Just wanted to make the dialogue authentic.
