I dunno. It doesn't look very Transformers but it looks good on its own merits. Reminds me of those Thundercats Vikings figures The Berserkers, ironically.

Were they in the cartoon season we didn't get over here?
They may have been in the UK comic but my readership dropped off around the #70's.

I expect that a bigger Hound toy would have the back section enclosed. It looks like the front end of the cab folds up on to his back.

Predator is right for that. It's the dreads. I'd buy it because it looks cool, but not because it's a Transformer.

Lots of dead space in that box! Lots of the actual figure obscured by the packaging!

This was part why RFC noted the similarity to the black series - new box packaging for Deluxes.

I'm kinda hoping that Toy Fair gives us better.

Ah, so that's the game is it. Slap more paint on and give them a more mature colour scheme to justify the price. Collectable figures instead of toys.
I did think last time the Dinobots would look great in a proper deco and not the fisher price colours they arrived in, which was proved with the Black Knight versions.
Odd though that the first toys from a whole new movie are repaints.

They do look nice. I wonder how many of those dino moulds they're doing like that. I was also wondering if they're leading off with repaints to hold back on spoilers for the newer figures in the film.
I might have to have the Grimlock, even though he'll be £30.
See how Pinwig's 'no film toys' rule breaks yet again.

Anything new other than Predaking, sorry, Dragon Beast? From what I can see its mostly some Primes, Bumblebees and Dinobots.
I refuse to acknowledge Sqweeks. Yes, I realise the irony in that sentence.
Just realised I posted this in the Trypticon when it was meant for the TLK toy thread. Phil, could you oblige good sir?

It looks to be rather similar to the line from the last Live Action movie...extremely uninspiring. Well, removes the temptation to give that aspect of the franchise money anyway.

But who *doesn't* want to buy a cute little Skweeks toy? He'll be as popular as BB-8!
Maybe.
Possibly.

He'll be all over Home Bargains in 2019.

By 'as popular as BB-8', do you mean 'obviously a crap attempt to cash in on BB-8s popularity'?
