There is no cheap primus here. My TRU still wants full price.
I WANT RAVER PRIMUS, DAMMIT!

I don't think you'd save an awful lot getting one of us to send one over. It'd be $70 plus the shipping.

Nope. Shipping alone would push it up to full retail, pretty much.

I did not buy a cheap Primus. I often think I ought to, but it's a toy that doesn't have a home in my collection. Wouldn't fit with anything. But it created all the other robots. -Ralph

They're $120 or so locally. From my experience sending huge boxes of stuff to you guys, I imagine shipping would be no less than $40. And I'm probably underestimating.

I was about to say if you cover shipping I'll pay for the figure.
Went to TRU website and it's been taken offline due to their administration.
If anyone is passing a TRU that has the cheap Primus can they pick one up please and I'll pay for it.

Naw dude! I really really appreciate the thought. More than you realize. But you don't really need to do that.
it's more of an irritating thing for me. I have the original, and now there's a G2 version dangling tantilizingly in front of me. But I'm honestly not even sure I'd grab it if they did knock it down to $70. It's stuck in my head the original was like... $60 when the mold came out.

You've done a bit of running about for me the last few months so it's my way of repaying you. I'm happy to do it

Don't worry about the cost involved. If someone can get it for you, would you be ok covering shipping?

Or if shipping will be close to $50 anywat, why don't I just send you the other $70 (which is about £50, I think) and cut out the bit in the middle?

I was hoping to get to The Forge at the weekend, so I'll see if they have any there. But given the weather... That may not happen. (And no, not a single one at the Govan branch.)

I appreciate the sentiment a lot. It makes me really happy, and of course I'd be happy to pay for shipping. But I just don't feel right accepting such an expensive gift.

It’s 20% off all TFs in the Forge Toysaurus. Which means it’s forty quid for a G2 Primus. I’m gonna pick one up, so... does anyone want?

How much is a quid to a pound? Or is it the brittish version of calling a dollar a buck?

I've just seen the Knight Armour toys advertised on CITV.
They're running adverts for this stuff nearly a year after release????

Cybertron (Primus) freed from his box this evening, sourced from Phil of this parish. I already knew the mould but the mad colours are great. Pictures do not do it justice.
I have made him SDCC TR Fort Max's diminutive butler.

I was hoping that with TRU clearancing everything out that I could finally snag primus. But a month on, and it's still not dropped below $140.

That is madness.
But yeah, Primus' colours are so good - miles better than the original. I mostly like that it looks like he has a molten core. I've probably said that before, but I like it so much that I don't care.

Voyager Scorn. Impressive looking dinosaur mode, possibly bigger than the equivalent Grimlock. Nice detail. Transformation is a little fiddly but worth the hassle to get to the Dino. Robot suffers because it sticks to the appearance of the Deluxe version, which was limited simply by its size. The tail as arm needs to be able to fold up, it's too long, and the other side has both the smaller Dino arms hanging off the shoulder, which makes it look unbalanced. In all, a great movie style dinosaur with an awkward and oversized robot.

Got myself TLK Premier Edition Voyager Optimus Prime Clear Version.
Its pretty!
And terrifying. Thats a lot of clear plastic. But weirdly no light piping as the head is almost completely painted.
I think its the first time Ive had my hands on this mould. I was expecting someting simple like most of the later Primes we got from Hasbro but this ones fiddly. Its actually kind of like ROTF leader class Prime, but smaller and made of transparent plastic.
He will make a very fine addition to my translucent Prime Shelf (should I ever gather them together and place them on a shelf)

I stumbled across it one night after the Saturday zoom call while I was looking for something for Phil and a godbomber for me (after talk about a G2 Powermaster Prime escalated). I'd never seen it before and honestly I dont think I even knew the mould was different from the ones we got over here till it arrived.
But Im discovering that Takara went store exclusive lottery mad from 2007 till pretty recently. This one was send in proof of purchase for for TLK releases from a specific store. The wiki isnt clear to me wether it was any one version or you had to buy the DVD and Bluray or some other combo.
