G2 PrimusSweet!!!!!!How much? My thoughts exactly!

I was budgeting this year on being able to leave the TLK toys completely, but they are proving to be too good. Dragonstorm looks fab, and being a Leader he'll go even better with the new uniformly coloured Dinobots. Slash has really impressed me. It is amazing what a decent deco can do for a toy.
So that Primus, that's the older Primus repainted? I never got that toy, but it would look good with Unicron.

G2 PrimusSweet!!!!!!How much? $150 usd. I am having issues justifying $150 for a toy that ten years ago was $60.

I'm really liking the new molds. I am struggling with needing Neo G2 goth-emo Cybertron, and justifying that absurd price.

I think if you take away the usual and quite rip offy tru exclusive mark up, its probably about right. Its not just inflation, its how new transformers are designed and built compared to older ones. Fewer parts, largely put together without screws, softer and or lighter plastic used etc.
Wait for a sale or voucher and its not totally unreasonable.

I remember now why I haven't pursued that mould - it isn't as big or bulky as Unicron. They look daft together to me. I can probably skip this based on that, despite the fact the colours really make it. That kind of money I need for Trypticon.

Damn you. ;-) But nah, I've got the original. And that was bought in dollars when the pound was strong against the dollar, basically making this four to five times more expensive. So that'll be a no. Unless I can get it cheap at some point, because I *do* like that crazy design... I'd much rather spend my money on Dragonstorm. And so will. Eventually. Also I look forward to the inevitable see-strike plane repaints/remolds of Nitro. Although given CW managed to avoid them entirely, maybe not... Also I quite like that new legends Hot Rod, but in the Mission... two-pack. All it needed was the flames on the hood to make it like a proper Hot Rod. Now how difficult was that..?

Damn you. ;-) It's a little known fact that following Cybertron's Golden Age, it had a Goth period, where it went all black and wrote bad poetry about black holes and Unicron.

Now if Cybertron is Goth, then Unicron is Emo:

Cogman has a TR compatible Titanmaster head. Did we know that? Nitro's head comes off but doesn't transform, TR heads can fit him and in his cockpit!

The more I look at these, the more I want them. The aesthetic for TLK is great.

It has caught me by surprise. I bought no toys from the first three films bar leader Jetfire, but bought into the AoE Dinobots because I felt they somehow worked. Then I got Evasion Prime and the Generations Bumblebee to make a 'set'.
The new premium decos make the dinos even better, and now I find myself looking at the other new moulds. I'm certainly in for all the Dino characters including the Leader, and Leader Megs. But I might not be able to stop there! The Voyager Prime does look nice, but the paint job isn't quite right. I'm assuming we'll see that again from somewhere.
I'm also happy to think this is a limited line too - if all these reveals really are the total extent of the Premium line for this film, then it's only three waves plus the TRU exclusive repaints.

That is the question my dear boy! Hmm! How can it be, how can it BE?
It probably means PREMIER WILL RETURN. For Bumblebee the Movie.

I see Phil has done his usual excellent work updating the UK release list with the Known Facts. From what the Hasbro hangout told us, I would imagine wave 3 of the Deluxes will be the new Bumblebee, Cogman, Crosshairs and Strafe. Because that means two new and two repaints in each wave. Also, Voyager wave three would be Scorn and Nitro, there isn't a Voyager bee?
That means the deluxe retail waves are made up of repaints and new moulds, and the exclusives are remoulds. TRU mission to Cybertron has Megatron from the T30 one, and Skullitron, which looks like Steelbane with a new head and chest. Then Walmart's Autobot Heroes line includes Hot Rod, which from what's being said appears to be an extensive remould of AoE Lockdown.
Walmart got a good deal out of that, Hot Rod is going to be quite desirable.

More to the point, how many of these do you think we will actually find at retail here?

I think we'll get all the retail waves because there are only three and they'll all be out by August. Asda would be fools to pass on Hot Rod. They had exclusives for AoE.
TRU have carried their other recent exclusives, like the RiD one, but there are quite a lot in that bunch.

All the sites invited to that hangout seem clear on Hasbro saying they have now shown the entire TLK Premier range. Although TFormers say that's four waves, but there are only enough toys for three.
That does seem small. Maybe it's a new format. This film done by Christmas, clear the decks to start hyping the next one in the new year.
It makes it an appealing collection. 15 Deluxes, six Voyagers and three leaders. Done. Full set unless you want to go into more duplicate characters with the legions.

I wonder if there was some confusion or they changed their minds? They may have confused the MP bumblebee as a voyager. Size is about right for voyager.

All the cars in the post MP-10 era are basically slightly large voyagers. Except Bumblebee who's smaller than a deluxe.
