The story and script were poor. It didn't fit properly with Remembrance. It was bobbins!

I honestly don't know how you can say that in the context of the rest of the rubbish in that series, but each to their own! It even had the same shouty 'small human' Dalek in the past and Nick Briggs doing a passable impression of Roy Skelton!

I must read that book, then I can rid myself of the hideous Class count.

3 soundtracks now instead of one.
Although do I really have to open this record to play it? I've heard the CD. Seems a shame, and I don't have easy access to a player anyway.

Don't you have a record player...in the loft? -Ralph Yes I do, but it's a shitty one that has built in speakers. I've only used it to transfer vinyl to MP3 with the USB connection it has, but the quality was very disappointing when I did that with the TF soundtrack. To do something like this justice I'll have to do what I did with the Star Cops 12" I got and take it round my parents' house to use Dad's stereo.

Bonus CD is 69 minutes. 46 tracks. A lot of them seem to be just stings less than a minute long. Here we go then.

Done. Dave Gilmour is now restoring sense to my living room. That bonus CD is even worse than the original soundtrack CD. None of it is really music. It's just snippets and off cuts. Every time you think it's about to get going it just stops again.

The count should be 2/3 soundtracks if we're doing CD/Bonus CD/Vinyl. Although the CD and Vinyl are identical in content.

Final push. Read the first third of the last Class book. I like James Goss so I was hopeful this would go somewhere. It's more in tune with what Class was trying to be than the other books and the first forty pages or so were engaging, but the next 80 are just the same stuff over and over. Needs to get going quickly. The writing is styled around parodies of click-bait headlines. There are some really nice observations about human nature and a few chapters are genuinely thought-provoking writing, but for 120 pages there is barely any progress in the narrative.
Still, onwards.
