I'd stick with anything printing US 1-55 ( I know he was editor on 1-4 & I don't normal get editor to sign stuff they editted, but #5&6 are in the tpb anyway) The answer is the Micromaster wrestling issue. Come on!

Ghost rider last few issues of the first series? 1973 series #74-81. I'll not even start listing how many comics Bob was the editor on - but its about 500% more than all the writing/art work put together.

Right. That's it. I need a plan. How do I discredit my sister's fiance and get this damned wedding cancelled? Have you considered www.hireahitman.co.uk?

This is such a massive get! What do you even take the father of transformers to get signed? I got the TF Universe book and a page of original artwork from an issue he wrote signed when he was last in London.

Ticket acquired. Hotel room acquirred at Standard Hilton Rates due to lack of convention rate by the time I got home from work to make a booking...
Ah well. I'll _still_ be there earlier on the Friday than I was last year anyway due to now only being an hour away, so t'is fine.

Tickets booked and hotel sort of booked. Still couldn't get a Sunday night room even though it wasn't even an hour after the tickets went on sale. I spoke to Hilton and they said there was never a discount rate for the Sunday. Has anyone else managed to book Sunday? I was hoping there would be more rooms available this year.
(Though looking at Karl's post, I guess I'm lucky to get the Friday & Saturday at the special price).

I don't know what the reduced rate is, costing me £130 per night for Friday and Saturday, but, I have to get a Queen size because of taking the child.

Matt I was on the Hilton site at 6pm, and i couldn't get a room for Sunday or Thursday. Frustratingly the Hilton site kept showing me the twin deluxe rooms were available for Thursday to Sunday nights, but once I had to enter my details and went to finalise the booking, it told me the rooms weren't available. So when i started again it was still showing rooms available for those 4 nights, so I went through that process 4 more times before it finally didn't give the twin rooms as an option. I was also only able to get the Friday and Saturday nights.
I am still trying to figure out what to do for the Thursday and Sunday nights, but that will also depend on travel costs. I maybe better off not sleeping on the Sunday night and using the money that I would have used for room that night towards a train home rather than the megabus again. In 2015 I managed to get a room at the Ibis for £40, but the cheapest room I am finding at the moment is £84. I will wait until nearer the time to see if I can get a better price through a third party website.
The booking of the tickets through the TFN website was nice and smooth for the second year in a row. As you can see, the same can't be said for the Hilton website.

I got my tickets & room booked - but only single or £130 night rooms available. Then your room booking doesn't show up in reservations & all my hilton points have gone. Also no hotel confirm email but have the confirm for booking extra towels.

On the TFN FB page I was told they were sold out, but if you tried at 6.00 (as soon as they would have been available) and couldn't get one then that pretty much confirms it.A shame as the Sunday night is a such a fun part of the weekend.

There was a discount rate for the Sunday night. But as it's not a convention day as such as the con finishes at Sunday tea time we don't get as many of them, so they are typically the first to go.

I got the discount for the Sunday, so any Hilton staff who told you otherwise were badly informed (I won't say lying because I've worked in retail long enough to know how often you pass on wrong information in good faith).
I made the mistake of faffing about signing into the Hhonors thing (foolish as it doesn't really do anything) so I couldn't get the twin room I'd originally tried to book with the intent a pal would be sharing it with me on the Saturday. But I did get a con rate sigle for the weekend for myself and a Saturday one for my friend so it wasn't so bad.

Ah well, that's reassuring to know. (I did ask her to confirm this and she did check with some one but I guess she was given wrong information). I know the Sunday night isn't officially part of the event, but there are always crowds of people there that night (this that want to socialise and those that choose not to travel home tired after a fun but long day)which does show it is a popular night to want to stay.

And as a sign of how increasingly silly my work holiday situation is I've just had to hand in a form for my best guess at the 2018 TFN dates to be in with even a vague chance of getting the time off. Ghhhgahhh.
