Being a Bran Flakes man I did not realise Ricicles were still with us.

I did enjoy Ricicles and Frosties both, but they have been priced out of my reach. I am sad to see Ricicles go.

Reading too much of the nonsense that goes on in this forum combined with a certain song being played while I was in HMV the other day to mean that I now can't get the image of certain Hub members as backup dancers in a Bananarama video out of my head. And now neither can all of you. Martin

Over in the Quatermass thread, one of the reasons I gave Ralph for watching Quatermass and the Pit on iPlayer is that Roger Delgado is in it. But I realised today that he isn't, he's in Quatermass II. Ralph now claims the only thing that has got him as far as episode five of the series is that he was hoping to see Delagdo, neatly ignoring the fact that he should be watching it regardless because it's REALLY JOLLY GOOD. A view he does not share.

He was the guy that played the Master in Jon Pertwee's era of Doctor Who

I am utterly mystified that this TV serial has been venerated for 60 years! Perhaps the first two were better but I am not buying the DVD to find out!
What's weird is that the 3 Hammer films of Quatermass are splendid high-grade tosh!

The first two Quatermass films are not good, Quatermass and the Pit is bloody excellent though.
