Quips. Fun fight scene. "Why won't anyone ever take me seriously". Being dorky around girls. Bank Robbers. Making being a superhero look like fun.
Already looks pretty promising I'd say! Bring it on, wall-crawler!

Yeah, and nice to see Tony Stark seeming to be in a more positive place after Civil War. He's never properly grown up himself, which is why I think he has such chemistry with child prodigies like the one in Iron Man 3 and now Peter Parker. He sees himself in them and wants to help them, and tease them, and show off to them, and they want to impress him and help him and tease him back. In Civil War, Spider-Man's musical theme was the Iron Man 3 music, which was clearly deliberate. Pairing any of the other Avengers up with kids wouldn't have worked.

I think there are three MCU films next year - Guardians, then Spider-Man, then Thor.
Michael Keaton as the Vulture!

Looks great. And not a goblin in sight.
From a purely practical stand point, given Tom Hollands age they can make 5 of these before hes the same age as Andrew Garfield was The Amazing Spider-Man.
If they do plan to phase out the first wave of Avengers after Avengers 4 it means they have the first star of the next wave lined up and available for the next 10-15 years potentially.

Watched Homecoming, it's good, so much fun. Got my ticket to see it from my favourite seat in Cineworld's superscreen on Wednesday. Can't wait. After the trailers, if it's not my favourite film of the year I'll be disappointed. Martin

I am indifferent. The first two Raimi films were awful. Terrible director who always makes crap and Spider-Man was turned into angst monster. Never watched the 3rd one he did.
Loved Andrew Garfield in the role though the films he was in were terribly clunky.
The problem for me is that I grew up reading Spider-Man comics where he was an adult with a job and a wife so I don't understand why the films keep trying to make him a teenager at school. It doesn't connect with me at all. It feels as nonsensical as trying to remake Star Trek but now everyone is young again. Strange throwback to trying to make the character what he was 50 years ago.
I'm also getting quite bored with MCU films. They seem to be stuck in a certain corporate feeling pattern.
So the gist is that I very much hope to be pleasantly surprised by the 6th Spider-Man film.

Spoilers for Ralph: he doesn't have a wife in the film
But seriously, this is the closest they've got to capturing comic book Spider-Man in the movies [although I have not watched Garfield Spider-Man 2], but definitely more an amalgam of original Ditko and Ultimate universe than old man Spidey.
And there are a couple of idiot ball moments.

I think it would be worse If it were the reverse In a shared universe. I just see them as feature-length episodes in a really big budget TV show. If you look at it that way, it's not that long in total, you know. The whole of Agents of SHIELD to date Is much longer than all the movies combined. I love them all, for the next I can't wait And Spider-Man will be great, I expect to find. Martin

Though many here give him a low mark I always like seeing Tony Stark And thus I enjoyed the happy ending With his break with Pepper Potts mending. His character has certainly evolved Though some things rightly remain unresolved. Martin
