Facebook says the next Mattel Creations Origins figure, presumably Lady Slither, is up on Tuesday 12th. I also saw something flash by that said Mattel are doing a vote for interest in the next crowdfunded MotU project.

If it's not the Movie Castle Greyskull then I'm not interested.
So I really hope it isn't.

The five Eternia's Choice for the next MOTU crowd funding attempts. I can't be the only one that thinks it would be great if they combined the Fright Zone with the Slime Pit. I chose the Fright Zone and the Attack Trak from the survey linked at the bottom. "By the power of Grayskull, it's Eternia's Choice! Throughout this week, you have the chance to vote for your top TWO (2) choices for our next made-to-order, large-scale item. The voting window closes on Sunday, September 10th, at 11:59 PM PT, so make sure to weigh in now. Head to bit.ly/MOTU_Crowdfund to cast your vote! What are you voting for? #MOTU Fright Zone Playset Snake Lair Playset Doom Tower Playset Attack Trak Vehicle Horde Command Crawler" www.surveymonkey.com/r/YPZ5XML

Crowd funding for mega corporations can GTF.
Also: remember when Origins was a cheap and cheerful line?

Hopefully they will be a lot more reasonably priced than Eternia was, but we shall see.
I have read that Lady Slither is £35 plus postage for the UK, if you survive the rush to get one.

Lady Slither looks great. Nice deluxe package.
I'm all for more vehicles for these toys but a cartoon style Attack Trak is disappointing when the proper one looks so much better. No idea what the top choice will be here but I'd guess the Fright zone. It'd be nice if each of the four factions ended up with their own playset.

Toothy lasted over two hours, if they're all like that it is at least a window of opportunity. 5pm Tuesdays now I'll be in a staff meeting so I'll have to hope it lasts at least an hour.

I originally thought that the Filmation Attack Trak would just walk this one (because it doesn't roll, ha ha), basing my reasoning on how thing generally go in the TF fandom (original cartoon is everything!). But looking at a lot of the responses on Twitter it might be that the Fright Zone will actually win this one - which would be my choice, also, if I was actually going to go in on this.
Of course what they should be really doing is the '87 Movie Castle Greyskull. But luckily for my wallet they don't seem to have even considered that.

We've been aware for some time that Moss Man is a European Smyths exclusive.
It's odd because Smyths UK had seemingly abandoned the line
And since when has Smyths done preorders?
Also: £40 ??????????????

Will be odd if Smyths get this in!
If they do, wait. Considering how Origins tanked here I can see Mossy going on sale quickly. These figures didn't shift when they were around £15.

And since when has Smyths done preorders? Certain items have bene available for pre-order for years, but it does seem to mostly be video games or other items they may expect to be big sellers. I have never seen a Transformer or any figure most of use would be interested in for pre-order, which is why you have never seen it before. It is strange to see a MOTU figure for pre-order, and like Ralph I expect this thing to shelf warm then the price to drop like a stone. Well unless scalpers click on to the fact, snap most of them up.
