Doesn't do much for me, so far. The half-and-half approach to his extensions is baffling in-hand. The action feature to extend the head and torso is built-in, but to make arms/legs longer you have to put on the extra bits. Doesn't make for a satisfying play experience.

There's toys after that that are know to be problematic, the Universe Micromaster Aerialbots spring to mind, but I don't think it's anywhere near as prevalent. tfwiki.net/wiki/Gold_Plastic_SyndromeThe thing is with GPS is the plastic generally takes a while to "mature" to the point where it really fails I think most of the Gold I can see on Nightstalker looks painted. |

Turtles of Grayskull Wave 3 has arrived from Whole Shebang. Another bunch of mashup craziness. Absolutely love this line. Michelangelo's He-Man wig and the cheesy grin are brilliant. Skeletor's green bits are day-glo green bright. Look like they should be glow in the dark but sadly they aren't.  |

Today the Skeleton Warrior two-pack arrived from BBTS. I couldn't source them anywhere else so they've been sat in a pile of loot for the last three months. I also got a second Eternian Guard so I can have one either side of the entrance to the central tower.
When I was sorting that I discovered they also still had SS86 Ironhide in stock and adding him didn't change the postage, so I got him for £28. Better still, this box got through without CUTA, which I'm particularly pleased about having been stung last time I bought from BBTS.

I'm tickled by the thought that on Eternia they literally have no concept of puns and clever wordplay, and it's pure coindcidence and unintentional that the characters Tuvar and Baddrah happened to get merged into one being, and the whole planet is completely oblivious to the fact that Tu-Bad both sounds like the number Two (fitting since he has two heads) and the phrase 'Too bad!' And so is the one genuinely witty name in the Masters of the Universe toyline.

Phew, at least as an SDCC exclusive it is also on Creations. Even if that kinda doesn't make it an exclusive.
I wonder how long it'll be before a single figure follows on the proper card back with 80s style heads via Creations as well.
