Oh, I like that!
I had pretty much sworn off any more Origins outside of Turtles of Grayskull but that one is tempting.

I see Night Stalker still hasn't sold out either. Weird how this stuff either vanishes in hours or hangs around for ages. It's still in stock! Hmmm. Do I have the right? *gurns* Just touch these two buttons together and the He-Fool menace is ended forever! *gurns* But...do I have...the right? -Ralph

My local Game never got them. I have checked the stock on the website numerous times but never anything. I did finally ask when I was in on Sunday, but all they had were CGI Grayskulls in the back for £35.

Picked up the Turtles of Grayskull Merman today at Smyths. That is a beautiful toy!
They had all the most recent releases out as well, Teela, Casey Jones, Skeletor, Michaelangelo. Difficult to resist picking up more, but I’m sure they will get discounted before long so hanging on for now.

Blimey, where did you find that?
Turtles Merman arrived today. I agree with Jim, this is an amazing figure. Lovely colours, exquisite detail in the paint and the option of fish tail or legs. Really stunning figure.

Opening some figures that need to come off the cards and into boxes to reduce storage space. Dragon Blaster Skeletor is quite imposing, isn't he? Like this one and his squirty dragon friend. Pain in the arse, or indeed fingers, getting that attached though. That hurt.

I'm in because I've bought the other cartoon figures. I'll have a go at buying my own for once as I'm around. I just need to remember at 5. Have to set an alarm.
I fully expect a proper origins one too.

Aww bloody hell that Snake Lair is massive. I was hoping it'd be more in line with the retail playsets. That's going to be silly money again. I still haven't managed to open Eternia because there just isn't anywhere for it to go.

With the Thundercats crossover, I wonder if Skeletor's samurai armour will be used for Hachiman?

Splinter-Skull arrived yesterday, being the Splinter/King Grayskull mashup in the Turtles line. Another excellent Deluxe with the third of four parts to make the Metal-Boto BAF.
I also took delivery of the Collector last week. On the plus side it's a massive vehicle for Skeletor's crew, but it's a long way from the heights of vehicles like the Wind Raider. It's basically a big clamshell with two extendable arms and two of Stridor's blast effects. Being an airborne ship it has no wheels, which is a bit of an oversight for a toy that has no flight stand like all the others. So it kinda just sits there and doesn't move. Inside, it has a control column on a ball joint so whoever's piloting can hold the flight stick, plus another control panel, but nothing else aside from the seats. Being cartoon styled it's very plain - really needs a Toyhax set to give it some life. It does look impressive, but it's a bit meh in terms of play value.

Interesting... Mattel did a survey after the Snake Lair was revealed at SDCC and the result is they've postponed the crowdfunding launch to change it. The general reaction seems to have been it looked too 'fisher price' but also that it is way too big to sit alongside Grayskull and Snake Mountain as a third playset. www.toyark.com/2024/08/09/motu-origins-snake-lair-crowdfund-update-542316I can't see them changing the size of it at this point as it's obviously already moulded, probably just some minor sculpt changes on the snake heads and a more sinister paint job, but it's interesting that Mattel were rattled enough by the response that they've pulled it for now.
