I'm sure they'll cave when they see it on (virtual) shelves and FOMO hits...

I imagine so. I can't remember what numbers Eternia did in the end but this isn't a remake of an 80s grail piece so I don't think it would do as well. I think Mattel have messed up by not making what was in the fan vote picture. A third Grayskull size set would be great, but they've gone too far with it for casual collectors. Given this has a footprint the same as Eternia it's only really a dedicated collector toy.
But, as you say, as soon as people think they're going to miss out, it'll fund quickly.

And this was the box that SDCC Two Bad arrived in yesterday... I'm not blaming Evri purely for that given it came from America, but it was a real heart in mouth moment until I found that the thin layer of bubble wrap inside had done a tremendous job of preserving the contents. The Mattel shipper had a small dent in one side, but the actual presentation box is totally undamaged.

Thank god they sent these in a box and not just in the Mattel shippers.

Ah HA. I knew you wouldn't be able to resist the lure of an SDCC exclusive. The box is nice. It has magnets in it to make the two halves stay together for display. See, no need to open.

Literal stacks of the Talon Fighter in Smyths Berlin this morning at €12 a go. Irresistible at that price.
They’ve also started slashing the price on the most recent wave of Turtles of Grayskull. Will hang in a bit longer on most of them but picked up Michelangelo.

12 Euros! That's a steal for that set!

That is a cracking price. The cheapest I have seen that set is currently on Amazon.de, where it comes to between £23-£24 posted to the UK.

Enjoy the figure that is so forgettable, that I already forgot I owned it. Even more so it is exactly the same figure as the lollipop man, just in blue. Not even a new head.

I'm hoping the production version has a little more definition or shading in all that flat green. I realise they're sticking to the early design for him, but he could do with being a bit more Ent-like.

I still need to get them. That and Snake Mountain and then I am done with Origins. The regular figures became too much of a pain to get/price rises.

You need one.
I love mine.
On related matters....
If anyone spots a nicely reduced Snake Mountain LMK
If anyone spots Terroar or Lord Grasp left in Smyths I need them
Ditto Cartoon Mer Man and Stratos

Point Dread and Talon Fighter work out at £20.04 currently, but I went for the Amazon warehouse offering to save a couple of pounds. It is usually slightly damaged packaging that I will just be putting in the recycling anyway. This is the first MOTU thing in a while as I haven't seen any bargains in months. I have seen Mega Blocks Castle Grayskull has been spotted in Game for £25, but not in my local and not on the website. Forbidden Planet do have Masterverse Sorceress Teela for £9.99. They may have more instore as Teela and a few other figures were £19.99 when I was in the Birmingham branch before TFN.

My local did have a Mega Blocks Grayskull earlier in the year when times were very bad and I was in no position to even buy it, so these maybe stores that have had them sitting for months unsold. When I was in last week I did ask if they had any in the back just in case, but alas no luck. Just the CGI Grayskull still sitting there for £35. Not my image but this was posted in a Facebook MOTU group last week.

Wow turns out it was over a year ago and not earlier this year. I will ask instore again, just in case they have had a delivery of one if they have some more warehouse stock being shipped to stores.
