Is Demo Man a hulked out Llama God? Discuss Sadly I didn't end up looking like that after our car broke down and we had to come off the road. Those old TV shows lied to us. They lied to me!

They've had one lot of Reptilax, that's how I got mine Yes, this is a problem unique to WS. Other shops don't do preorders for restocks until the first batch has gone out, but I've got a fair few figures pre-ordered where I made the pre-order prior to the stock arrival, but when it comes in you don't get one ad are left wondering why until you have to work out yourself that they're waiting on another delivery. Necro-Conda is like that, I thought I was getting one last week but it didn't show and now I'm guessing I'm in the next batch.

Whole Shebang were apparently muttering about this recently, they're saying Dec/Jan. I'm intrigued by the listing saying Cartoon Collection because the box doesn't and that figure is much more toy than cartoon. Have Mattel decided to badge this as Cartoon so it can have a wider general release instead of just five minutes on Creations?

Toy Habits reckon this is initially an Amazon exclusive in the US but other retailers will follow. Outside the US it's anyone who wants it. WS had it and sold out!

I remember when Origins started it was a cheap and easy line to collect. These two factors above all else pulled me back into MOTU...but I gradually lost interest as it became difficult and expensive to collect.
Here is another example. It's Modulok! How to acquire? No idea!
I will never understand how Mattel markets their own IP.

I've only been pulled back in for some of the Turtles of Grayskull stuff. While I was never going to go completist on Origins and was only after a select few, many of those were too frustrating to get hold of.
At least in Germany a lot of it shows up in Smyths these days, and is reliably eventually discounted. Saw the latest wave of ToG on-shelf at the weekend. Looks great, but I already had the main ones I wanted on pre-order. They have also apparently shifted their pile of Talon Fighters, which does leave me wondering just how far they eventually had to discount them!

I still appear to be in 100% on everything in Origins.
My Turtles wave 4 turned up at the weekend. April and Hordak are great, the He-Man and Donatello are much more traditional figures than the previous madness but I quite like that because I now have a decent looking Donatello figure and a proper He-Man for this line.

Demo-Man has arrived. He is... Not particularly exciting. I think the best thing to do with this one is put the skeleton warrior head on him and put him in charge of the skeletons in the two pack.
Even though he's green.
And not a skeleton.

Picked up Vypor last night while hunting Daleks. Nice figure; of all the random snake dudes, this one is nicely executed. We do have rather a lot of snakes though. I think they need to be divided into original 80s characters under King Hiss, then anything else under Lady Slither. Two factions to corral them.

Patience paid off and I picked up Splinter Skull at Smyths today at 30% off. They also now have 2-bopsteady and Leatherhead on shelves, both looking good, but I will again be patient!
The Stranger Things crossover pack was also on shelves in abundance but I have no interest in that.

Two things... Why is Modulok not released as an advent calendar?
Secondly, the Mega Construx MOTU calendar actually looks... Good...?

I can only find the 2021 one. (Although I am also nursing a virus the Scraplet brought us home from nursery, so it doesn't mean I've necessarily done an exhaustive search...) Definitely agree with you on the Modulok one, though!

Do you have a link for that calendar? I can only find the 2021 one. I stumbled on adventcalendar.co.uk/masters-of-the-universe-advent-calendar/, but looking at it it's the 2021 one. I suspect that site just scrapes Amazon and the like for the referral link income and auto generated the 2024 date for the calendar erroneously. Sorry for generating false excitement.
