I just added another snarky post to the FB page. Today is their latest 'it will get there by…' day.
I'm ready to be surprised…!

Issues 41/42 just popped through the door.
Correct issues, just two weeks late.

My correct issues have arrived too, 23/24. They have an invoice with them asking for payment though, which is odd because my account shows the books were paid for by direct debit in August.
I also await with trepidation getting to issue 33, which now reads as out of stock on their website. Will they have been clever enough to retain issues for people on subs a long way behind the current issues? Only time will tell.

They should send you the correct #30 seeing you are behind

I'm still in need of a proper list of the issues that had problems so I can keep an eye on that sort of thing.

Mine seem to have all been corrected versions. I suspect that is why they have kept me a month behind.

I don't buy this series due to the poor production values but I must say I do find the saga of Hachette's customer service to be absolutely gripping! Sometimes it is as exciting as that time Galvatron threw Ultra Magnus in a volcano.

So far it was only (line wide) #1,16,17,30 limited run #20,29
Errors that have just been ignore #22 the code there isn't copies without it. #44 seems like they aren't doing copy with the text not missing on 2 pages.

Thanks for that. Those are issue numbers, right? Not volume numbers.

What in the name of Bonaparte's balls are these fellows doing now?!
My two books turned up rattling around in a box big enough to fit a dozen in. How on earth the corners survived I do not know. Has anyone at Hachette ever bought anything from Amazon? How hard would it be to put these books in a cardboard wrapper with extended corners to protect them?

That's how my books normally come.

When I was subbed mine always came in a huge box. I thought that's how everyone's got delivered.

That's the two options they seem to have: big box & sleeve for two books. The sleeve they use has actually gotten better in the last four years, it used to just wrap them but now they allow the ends to take dings much like Amazon. Think I wrote somewhere else my 2000AD books came in the same big box this month so they must have run out. Jacklin Service are the worst.

Mine initially came in an oversized box. These days they come in the corner protected sleeve and always seem to neatly fit through the letter box as well which saves a lot of trouble with having to go and collect them from the Delivery Office. One thing HC are at least doing well.
My next set of books is currently a week overdue.

One thing HC are at least doing well. It would be if they were consistent with it. I've never had books arrive in a box like this before. The whole run of Dredd books and all the TF books I've had so far have come in sleeves with no corner protection. Dozens of my Hachette books have noticeable corner dings because of that.

My two boxes of half price books came the other day, about half are banged up.
A good reminder as to why I stopped my subscription, Ive only had one book Ive picked up at Asda that had been knocked and that was no where near as bad as most of these.
Still no response to my message about replacement books for the misprints. Thats was a week or two back.

how many half price ones did you buy? if they so banged up and buggered id ask for replacements, they've replaced some of mine for that in the past!

I got 11 books I think. Mostly for a friend in the US (still have to work out how to get them to him) who mostly wants the Marvel run and some MTMTE/LL.
I'll contact them once Ive had a chance to have a proper look at them.
Not having much luck right now, got hardback G2 book from World of Books which got trashed during delivery. Wasnt happy with their repsonse so will have to go through ebay on that one.

Email saying next dispatch will be delayed just pinged in:
There was me hoping the email would be an extension announcement. No such luck.

Nice customer service from Hachette for once. Well, keeping us informed at least:
