Nope. I'm not actually sure if my updated payment information has taken as the sub page still has the option of adding it...
With the Who one it usually averages out as arriving between the release of the two issues to shops/single purchases. Sometimes a little earlier, sometimes a little later but that's the mean.

has anyone subscribed and got their issues yet in the post? I received issues 1 & 2 about ten days before Christmas, issues 3 & 4 about two days later. I haven't had chance to open them, so don't know if they're test or regular copies. For some reason, the invoice for both deliveries read £0.00. The local WH Smith has issue 1 - only three in stock just now. |

And on my subscription account, the first two issues and keyrings were allocated on the 30th. Based on how the Who partwork normally goes (the first January issues of which went on my account at the same time) it should turn up this coming weekend. Bar any extra delays caused by new year...

Well, no sign of the Transformers books as a subscriber (someone mentioned they were likely to arrive this weekend). Got a knock on the door and a nice thick cardboard envelope from Hachette, but I could tell from the fact it was normal sized it wouldn't be TF unless they'd sent me the trial copies again by accident (not big enough to house the free gifts!). Sure enough, it's the 2 new Dredds (Banzai Battalion and Heavy Metal Dredd).
The wait goes on...

Yeah, looks like the Bank Holidays have knocked the arrival for this and the Who partwork back. They almost always come at weekends, so I'm guessing next week now.

is anyone else having as many problems as i am? so i subbed to the trial with no problem. (they now still sit in sealed packages in the loft not to be touched) i then had the email saying that the trail was over and the full release would be looked into going live.
i then get the email saying its going live and i now have a new subscription number and they needed my new bank details. (during this period i moved house, updated on the website just for the new subscription).
i then keep getting errors saying my sub number doesnt match my details provided, i then proceed to phone them and explain whats happened, the male on the other end (not from the uk call centre) says its been changed on the system with the new address now and it shoudl work after 24 hours.
24 hours later still not working, i tried 72 hours later and still nothing.
i rang again, new person says its been changed and could i provide a new direct debit set up. i did. all sorted??
nope.
a week later i check my subs from the website, still noting, i rang again..... updated and it says subscription cancelled. i asked why and she said she didnt have any idea. so she reactivated it. changed the address again (ffs) and said my address has been updated, will take 24 hours to update on the system, and my first 2 copy's will take 14 days after its processed to be sent out. (this was on wednesday)
still not been updated..... what should i do, im getting ever so annoyed, i ended up buying the first book just incase.

It'll not be sent out until the day after #2 is in the shops, then #4 & every even numbered copies. Whilst that does happen sometimes with the Who partwork, it usually comes before the second issue in the month's delivery is in the shops. It would also normally come the weekend after it's been allocated to your account (the January Who and TF books were both done on my account on the 30th), if not for the New Year both would have been here this Friday or Saturday. |

Oh, amnd speaking of oddities like Freestyle is experiencing, anyone having trouble adding their payment details again? I've done it twice now (once by card, then changed my mind and went for Direct Debit) and after both it's still showing the "Add your payment details" link that's "You are paying by..." on the Who sub. Says it takes 48 hours to show up, but the first time I did it was a week ago.

I've got 3 entries on my account - 30/12/16 #1,2 keyrings but payment method still shows up blue box, should it have changed to saying dd?

This is partially why I decided against subbing and just taking the Marvel/DW material upon release. I was subbed to the trial no problem, recieved all the books, but then got an email saying the book was going live, I had not been charged for the trial, and please update payment details as due to legal reasons they no longer had them.
I could see no way to update on the site, so I emailed their help center and they sent me a phone number to try. Yet every time I tried the number I was put on hold until finally an automated message told me to try again later. I figure I paid for my trial now just on phone charges, so fuck 'em. I'll be keeping my eye on this thread to see what's released when instead.
Speaking of, perhaps we could have the first post updated whenever a volume's release date and contents are confirmed?

You might still get the first 4 issues free anyway in the post - but it might just be the first 3 for all us who sub'ed before.
Just done up dates for release & have noticed some release dates that may change. -

Hi all, I received 2 & 3 today. The box is massive, do they normally not fit through the letterbox when the free gifts are done? I hope so, cause my post office depot is miles away! Anyway, the books survived pretty well given they were loose inside.

Nope. Two Hachette books don't fit through my letterbox. I really hope they start using new packaging with extended corners for these books, that's happened once or twice with the Dredd books, but the packaging is usually just a cardboard sleeve around the books which offers absolutely no protection to the corners.

Recieved an email today from Hachette, they hoped I enjoyed the first two books which apparently were resent to me free of charge for being part of the trial and that I would also get issue 3. I never recieved any.
They also remind me I need to update my payment details for a continued subscription by the 25th, by providing me with a link that has no payment options at all.
After the bother I had trying to get through on the phone (On hold for ages only to be told to try again later) I'm really not impressed at all.

Neither am I as I got the same email despite the fact that I already unsubscribed (I will be picking and choosing from the series) and received email confirmation of this. The digital side of Hachette is functionally useless.

i had the same email, so after failing twice to add my details online I phoned them up. Hopefully that will have sorted it...
Mind, I tried to correct my address as well and it turns out they've got the right one in their system, just not on the online subs page or the actual bloody parcels.
