Is TFUK 137-138 really in the Dreamwave GI Joe volume? or is our index wrong?

I don't know how that was on there, wasn't in the original listing plan. It is getting hard to find the right place to enter the details with all the code

There will be no more Marvel-era stuff that late on. The volume before the first Regen one will contain the last of the Marvel.

Picked up #12 today (felt great collecting it from the same newsagent that used to reserve the weekly for me 30 years ago!) - collects Heart of Darkness #1 to 4 & Transformers: Infestation 1 & 2. This is the first volume published that probably contains any "new" material to me, but definitely the first one that's entirely new as I did not buy anything, apart from the odd issue on a whim, post-Furman. As I have a train journey to London on Saturday to see Depeche Mode I shall save it to read on the train, but looking forward to reading this for the first time. Details for #13 now up on the Hachette website. Ratchet on the front, Dark Cybertron Part 1 (can't remember if that was what was solicited or not. Think it probably was), Volume #59 from the looks of it but bit blurry so could be #69. Not 100% sure - 95% though

A Depeche Mode inspired rant on Heart of Darkness: {Spoiler} It's not Blasphemous Rumours to state HoD received widespread Condemnation when it was released. The writer & artist struggled to Get The Balance Right, resulting in a Useless mess of art and words. Although I'm Used To The Pain, I beg IDW to Never Let Me Down Again. If you're looking for a good TF story for which You Just Can't Get Enough, Dream On! It's No Good!
*Ahem* Sorry for the outbreak. I've never been able to read Heart of Darkness in its entirety - it must rate as one of, if not the, worst TF story of the IDW continuity. Infestation is awesome though.

I'm going to re read it #12 all in one go next week - just doing #5 right now. Yes the art is bad - but you get NICK ROCHE!!! at the end to make up for it

So many good replies in this thread, but I've not managed to find the time to sit down and respond to any of them properly!
I'd like to pretend it's because I'm a busy and important person.
So I will.
In short though, looking at the intro to Heart of Darkness, Furman calling D-Void a "Great name" is glorious trolling on his part.

I do like Dan Abnett as a writer (his Guardians of The Galaxy run in particular), but some of his puns are horrendous. I think it's why I've never warmed to Kingdom despite the fact most 2000ad readers seem to love it. "Gene The Hackman" ugh! It's like reading a bad first draft of a sixth form essay...
Ulises Farinas's art didn't look too bad when I flicked through #12. I guess the proof is in the pudding, and if the art is difficult to decipher when I read it I may well quickly retract that opinion...

Having just read Heart Of Darkness I will say I didn't find it as horrendous as people were making out. I'm starting to struggle with the way Hachette spread out the collection though. Clearly this story is after the conclusion to the ....ations mega-arc.
I want to bring up a subject on the art though, not sure if there is a thread dedicated to this kind of thing elsewhere: Given that Transformers are robots and these days drawn in a rather complicated style (compared to, say, Wildman) just how many of the 'artists' have spent time modelling the characters in CGI and then their strip work is just posed line renders? The stiffness of some Marvel artists often give this away but with Transformers I can't imagine an artist drawing every single rivet on a caterpillar track. I know Roche isn't an offender naturally! -grumbling old man

I don't think any of it is CGI renders. All drawn by hand. And yup, some artists do draw every rivet on them, for example James Raiz comes to mind for that.
Every artist has a different style, naturally, but if any of them have used CGI to do the comic work I've never heard of it.

I think you've got the test issue mixed in with the regular run.

Is that the test issue that was meant to be replaced?

I had done the same when I finally collected up all my issues the other day.

Is that the test issue that was meant to be replaced? The 4 test issues done before Christmas had different spine art. So if you were part of the tes then you should have recieved the correct volume 36 when they started the full run. If you werent part of the test then they must have sent out one instead the proper one.

Its more obvious here. It seems the artwork on issues 1 and 2 is scaled down about he same amount from the website image. if thats true of all issues then that and 80 instead of the website 74 issues then all the peach coloured areas will require additional artwork. Sadly unlikely to be any additional artwork now that the page count per volume has dropped. Using volume 50 as a guide which looks about the thinnest seems to fill most of the gaps pretty well. though it looks like a slightly higher page count spread between 39 and 50. There have been a few tweaks though, Ironhide is positioned a little higher.

Details for #14 up on the Hachette website. Confirmed as expected to be Volume 1 and titled "Power Play". Looks like Ironhide as the cover image.

Yeah I thought that. Makes about as much sense as Devastator on the Headmasters volume (though Ironhide is at least in this one)!

They seem to come out so slowly when you're waiting for them to put out three Marvel/DW only books so you qualify for free postage.
