So, now have issue 100.
As expected, Transformers #15-17 and Galaxies #1-4. Galaxies at least is a complete story, but Transformers ends on a cliffhanger never to be resolved in this collection. Yay.
Standard foreword and cover gallery plus a two page afterword on the collection as a whole with a microscopic cover gallery of the series and retrospective on the various companies.
Slightly annoying are the comments on the new series: "Sadly, we only had room for the first 17 issues of Ruckley's Transformers and the first four of Galaxies, but we strongly urge you to seek out future collected editions from IDW - the first of which will likely be 'Rise of the Deceptions', the next critical arc of the ongoing." .. which would be great and all, except for the fact that the way this series had been collected means they've missed an issue of the ongoing and two of Galaxies. It's not like you didn't know how much space you had when you planned to put the new series in.. Bah.
The last fifth of the pages in my copy also are damaged, with the pages having been crumpled up at some point in printing or binding leaving a ridge down them. Which means I'm probably going to take it back and have to order a replacement online for about the 6th time in the series. Unless I just don't bother and simply file this one on the shelf since I'm probably going to pick up the IDW hardbacks of the new series..
Oh well. At least it's over, finished.

Recieved my issues and am glad to finally be done with the series. It's still a shame that they chose to structure the last three volumes the way they did and cause overlap with the recent IDW hardcover in order to collect every issue (my preference would have been to forgo the newest series and instead include a few odds and sods like Transformers/ROM, Tf vs Visionaries and even the Armada stuff missing) but all in all, still quite surprised and chuffed to get a 100 volume Transformers collection this way, so congrats to that.
Glad to be done with Hachette as a company though (even if they did start to marginally improve towards the end).

Yeah, I think most people would prefer them to have skipped the new series since they can't finish it. At the very least if they'd done 8 issues a book then they'd have matched the two hardbacks and anyone wanting everything wouldn't end up with duplicates (or floppies)
I can only assume that the fact that the two crossover books had the name of the other property in the title meant they didn't have the rights to reprint them. Visionaries at the very least is fairly important in the ongoing plot so you'd hope they didn't include it because of that and not simple incompetence.
I still reckon we'd have ended up with Transformers '84 as the last volume if the pandemic hadn't delayed its publication, I would think IDW have some amount of time where their single issue release is the only version of it they'll allow to be available.

One outstanding issue is whether Andrew Griffith or Don Figueroa drew the cover art that's a replication of the the work on the Shout Factory G1 cartoon and 25th/30th anniversary animated movie DVD set (vol 6, 9 (maybe), 16, 18, 21, 29, etc.)
I believe someone here said they were going to contact Andrew on twatter. I don't think Don is on social media that I know of.

Oh, right, I never got around to doing that, because I stopped caring about the collection when they shit up the extension. I'll try to remember to do it when I get home this evening.

To me, they are unmistakably Don Fig.

Yeah, they're Don.
They were done for Hasbro for their merchandising pack, basically a bunch of images to be used on licensed merch like t-shirts or notebooks and the like. Evergreen all purpose iconography. They weren't done for covers or profiles or anything like that.

Does anyone have a copy of Requiem of the Wreckers they don't need? I missed it, and now with Hachette having scrubbed the collection from the site, I don't see myself getting one through any retailers.

#59 V5 - page 36,45,67,109 - mine has printing errors on these pages on text. If anyone else has same issues? Or I just got a dud copy. I didn't notice at the time of release only when I read it last year.

you'll have to be more specific. there's no doubt these issues are some of the worst of the 'reformatted' / recoloured ones. this photo is taken from the book in question but i'm not sure what page you mean.

I streamlined my collection of this recently to just the issues with Marvel content and realised I am missing volumes 5 (The Smelting Pool) and 9 (Toy Soldiers).
Both seem to be gold dust. One...seller...on ebay has Volume 5 with a BIN of...£200.
No sign of volume 9 anywhere.
Nevermind!
