This should have UK #1-21 in it but wasn't 18-21 down for v2 #34? Unless we are getting the UK annuals stories too?

I believe Raiders Of The Last Ark is in vol 1. Possibly more.

It should be in v1 because it takes place before the end of US #4. But I knew I'd seen it somewhere that it was down for one volume.

They seem to come out so slowly when you're waiting for them to put out three Marvel/DW only books so you qualify for free postage. That's going to be inevitable I'm afraid. The Marvel & DW books are going to represent less than 50% of the collection (even if you're including Regeneration One in that total. If not it's even less). As Escalation is volume 37, that presumably means 36 is the final DW volume. So 36/80 (including RGen1).

On the bright side it means a much cheaper series for some!

v36 (#2) is already released. IDW should start v33. Megatron Origin

The already-released GIJOE/TF book is the last of the Dreamwave era. Which was what, 30, 31?

They could shove in the profile book. But that may take 2 books.

I honestly don't know if they will be using the Devil's Due ones. I was under the impression that they technically fell outside of the 'Generation One only' mandate, so I was probably more surprised than anyone when they announced the DW GIJoe/TF book. I'm fairly certain they won't be used.
Far as I understand it, after The Iron Fist we're going full tilt into the IDW material. If The Iron Fist is #31 and Stormbringer/Escalation are 36/37, then I would imagine the four volumes between will be #32 Primacy, collecting the whole Livio/Dille trilogy, #33 Megatron Origins and an assortment of spotlights set in that period, #34 Drift mini and the rest of the old-era spotlights, and #35 Infiltration.
That's all speculation, though, as I've only sought info up to the end of Dreamwave as that's all I plan on getting.

#115 ? They error may have moved from the sub dept to the website. But it's got all the stuff from the tpb in there. The original series preview & easter egg guide.
Also they could have printed Ironfist at the start of DW collection because we start of G1 series with the Autobots leaving Earth after being here for a while. - seeing that war within stuff is after the first 2 G1 series.

I was not expecting to see mtmte#22 to be in this - the contents page is in the wrong order. First ever UK issue to feature James Roberts & John Barbers work.

So have we had confirmation yet of what exactly is in Volume #1? Obviously US #1 to 4, and as Man of Iron was reprinted in the states over 2 regular sized issues, that would be the equivalent of 6 issues in total. That's a decent enough length already. Simon's confirmed Raiders is in Volume #2, so do we know or want to take bets on whether Enemy Within appears in Volume #1 or #2?

I like your reasoning on the length of volume 1 too. Enemy Within was the only story I was never able to complete with back issues, having started buying at issue 22 (that Ratchet opening sequence is seared into my brain) edit: ok, it was issue 26 I started on! yikes. woolly memory.

You must have been thinking about the reworked #5 reprint with V inserted instead of whatever that us show was.

You must have been thinking about the reworked #5 reprint with V inserted instead of whatever that us show was. Really hope that's the version they use in Volume #2 rather than the "correct" version. I don't suppose a reference to the then-very-popular-V really makes much sense more than 30 years on, but that's the version I read as a kid and now I have a copy of the US original that opening page just feels.... wrong... Not expecting them to, as they seem to be deferring to the US continuity with the new colouring, but will be pleasantly surprised if they do! US #5 & 6 are two of the most powerful comics ever from the US Marvel run IMO. The Autobots all hung up like slabs of meat - some of them missing body parts, Optimus Prime a disembodied head, Ratchet the only survivor, Buster torn between his promise to his dad and helping Ratchet, Shockwave smashing the shite out of Megatron, the defeated Megatron hailing Shockwave - I have such strong memories of those 2 and how they effected me as a 9 year old. The US comics were never better than those opening 12 issues (at least until Simon took over towards the end). Yep. Definitely looking forward to Volume #2

A lot of the material still holds up from the first year of Transformers, even allowing for some dodgy art at times (hello, Kuperberg) and natural dating that happens to all media. It's a strong story.

Yes the art was pretty bad - but then we got the Ratchet issue with the amazing art. Then it returned to a level better than #5,6

Thing is, I'd still rather have had that than the later Perlin & Delbo stuff which was just bland and looked dated - even in the mid to late 80s!
The Ratchet & The Dinobots issue was beautiful though.

Maybe Furman's earlier statement about Raiders was based on a 60 issue model or something. Glad to be getting a chunkier book for once

Equivalent of nine 22 page US issues - the UK comic was on half measures around the end of Enemy/Raiders wasn't it? So it'll give the chunky Target: 2006 volume a run for it's money in terms of page count.
