Just been and got it, risking buses full of unconcerned idiots in both directions. All 8 issues of Revolutionaries - and for some reason, Furman’s Intro and the character recaps are at the back. Cool. Sounds like no bonus material again, unless you want to count the character recaps. Cover gallery at least?

Well in Ireland all newsagents and the like are closed for the foreseeable future and unfortunately that includes my local missed the latest issue but I've pre ordered the next few from Forbidden Planet but considering how the post may be delayed might be awhile before collecting the collection will get back to normal.

There’s a timeline of the IDWverse, which was originally at the start of the first issue. Would it be fair to say: Bonus material includes a two-page timeline of major IDW continuity events from issue #1, the character profiles also from issue #1, a cover gallery and an intro by Simon Furman.

Yeah, that would seem reasonable to me.

All 8 issues of Revolutionaries - and for some reason, Furman’s Intro and the character recaps are at the back. Almost seems like we're back to getting misprints.. the intro, timeline and recap are labelled as pages 4-9, and then there's the usual splash page with the issue/story title, and then it's page 181. Weirdly, the first and last pages of the story are printed in the right places (the last page of Revolutionaries has the intro on the other side) so it's like they've had a last minute decision to shuffle the pages around before printing but haven't tidied it up properly.

Makes you wonder who they hire to work at Hachette. Obviously they need someone to look over the final product before release. I'll do it for a complete set of the books

Just got my copy and aw, it's another balls up isn't it. At least the comics are intact (I assume). Doubt they'll be reprinting this one. How's that list of errors coming, anybody?

As I'm sure y'all know, comic distributor Diamond is suspending issues scheduled to be released after April 1 due to the Coronavirus. Does that affect the UK, and this series in particular?

It won't affect this series - Hachette publish and distribute themselves. It'll come down to whether they decide to close their own offices, but they haven't said anything about that.

Diamond UK didn't even ship out books this week. It will only affect this series if you were picking up issues from a retailer that was supplied via Diamond UK. That retailer won't get them until DUK resumes distribution.

I'm trying to get a solid answer on this from Forbidden Planet. So far:
I should have been more specific first time!

So if I get mine from a newsagent that gets supplied by WHSmiths, what are my chances?

Hold on, that's only Forbidden Planet. Hachette send new releases direct to subscribers and they've said for now they're still doing that. There's a revised release date list on their website: hachettepartworks.com/home/faq

There's a revised release date list on their website: hachettepartworks.com/home/faqThanks for sharing that article. Earlier today I restarted my subscriptions rather than wait for FP’s supply chain to resume. I’m so behind with my reading it really doesn’t matter anyway but I don’t want to miss an issue.

Against all odds, I have Issue 86. My newsagents have shut, but the grocery store next door are handling their newspapers and magazines.
Contents exactly as predicted.

News courtesy of forbiddenplanet.com: Issue 90 (release date 14 June) is "Volume 93: Beast Wars: the Gathering"; Issue 91 (28 June) is "Volume 86: The Everlasting Voices" [so, the first of the two expected Lost Light volumes]
I've looked up the Beast Wars thing, but I have no idea how it ties into G1.

The IDW Beast Wars stuff has a few G1 characters in it. It's laid out as firmly in G1 continuity, so probably fits in better than the Armada stuff did. (I'm quite happy to see it - I only have the sequel on my shelf. They're both only four issues though, so I wonder if they'll either put both in one volume, or maybe split the IDW profile books between them. I'm half expecting it to be just a three page run down of what Beast Wars is instead.)
