I thought about Rook takes Queen, checkmate, but letting the Knight deliver the mate just seems more civilised.

I'm glad it was enough to entertain. I really didn't know how that would go. I can't remember playing chess at all since I was a kid. I knew you'd win but I thought it would be quicker than that. I think throughout all of that I was just trying to fend off what you were doing, not making my own plans, but it's taught me a bit about how you play the game. Particularly about that defensive line. I can see how you were using that to arrange your pieces behind it in ways they were supporting each other. I don't think I could see that much going on at once to be able to do that.

As a viewer it's been a lot more interesting getting the play by play of the decisions made. I still didn't know what was going on, but it was very engaging.

Well, I just wrote down and played through the game, but I've gone wrong somewhere in my notation of, if I'm honest, your sometimes... unorthodox description of some of the moves, and.... I HAVEN'T A CLUE WHAT'S WHERE...!!!!

Actually, I -think- I've figured it out after playing through it again.

I think the diagram above is a move behind 'cos I think you castled, then I took your Knight on e4 with my Knight on g5.
